I've owned every generation since they came out. I still own the flip 5 and Flip 6. The screen on the flip 5 has three half moon spots on the left side of the screen. My flip 6 has one as of now. I would never buy again and I plan on using the warranty on both.

I had my old phone for 5 years without any issues so very disappointed in this flip phone. Hopefully they will replace it, but not likely. It is hard to rate a phone that doesnt even turn on.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The phone is great, I bought it for my wife who came over from iphone so in her experience it is the best phone she has ever owned and a huge upgrade. But, rather than boasting about the obvious here are some things to consider and that should be addressed. Could be improved: Camera: It has a lower quality camera setup than even the S22 Ultra. (my personal phone) it is odd that video and camera quality is less than a few year old flagship but still takes amazing photos and videos but no ultra zoom option. Cover screen: The cover screen can be great but the features are locked behind an app for addition setup. Cool... but Goodluck (the app that allows you to customize the phone) is made by samsung im not sure why that wouldn't be included in the settings menu as she was disappointed in her cover screen features until I told her about the app. Pros: Performance: Processing Power on it is much better than the S22 Ultra Screen Quality: The screen alone on Samsung phones could be a reason enough to use flagship Samsung devices. Battery Life: If your device doesn't last all day something is wrong with your device or you have an app draining power sometimes she forgets to charge her phone and it will go over 24 hours without a charge.

However, the product had shipped as I received a UPS tracking number. I searched for the product on the Best Buy platform and it was available, just more expensive.

I had this for less than a year and the charge port stopped working and then the screen started to go in and out, sometimes it was multicolored static, and then it started restarting randomly. I tried troubleshooting and found these were known issues. I went through the troubleshooting and still no luck. So, I contacted Samsung and they said I had to go to a store to get it assessed. The guy at the store also indicated the screen thing was a known issue and looked over my phone and said it will be covered under warranty. I got a call back the next day that they say they found a scratch and that voids the warranty. They wanted to charge me around $400 to fix the issue. I'll buy another non-Samsung phone instead that will be more reliable. The scratch was from me taking the phone case off of it so I could charge it wirelessly because the charging port stopped working, so it was after the issue started. I am very dissappointed that Samsung won't fix known issues on a phone that is less than a year old. I started looking at other reviews and saw a number that had the same experience. I won't ever buy a Samsung product again as they do not back their products, even when they have known issues. Which is a shame because I have bought a lot of their products, but I don't trust them anymore. It is a cheap product that they won't stand behind.

I had to pay almost $300 to have the screen on my new phone replaced. After another month the screen started to go out again so i traded the phone in. The company does not warranty the screen. They know the screens are of poor quality and they dont stand behind them.

Dreaded Black Inner Screen

It won't turn on at all. I tried all the recommended fixes, but nothing works. The cover screen seems ok. I've had it for 9 trouble-free months. Also, I called one of the "authorized Samsung phone repair" sites per Samsung's website and was told they don't do warranty repair! Help Samsung! This was too expensive to be a paperweight!

This device is not built to last and you will run into issues eventually no matter how cool it is its not worth 1000 bucks if its going to break within 2 months of owning it brand new skip the folds in general they all have this issue

Best buy trade in is a scam

I talked to customer service, they said go to the store. I talked to the store, they said email onlinetradein. I emailed onlinetradein, they told me to go back to the store and to not contact them again. Do yourself a favor and purchase your phone through your provider because best buy will scam you.
