This is the phone that got me out of the apple ecosystem. It's fast reliable and it turns into a tablet what more could I ask for

I absolutely love this phone. Downside is that there arent many cases for it but other than that its great. Adding an s pen increases usability. There is a specific item on amazon that gives you a little case that you can switch between using a stand or carrying a s pen. It costs ablut the same as the s pen by itself. Also only other bad thing is a small portion of graphics may be cut off from certain games and apps.

Let me start by saying this phone is probably great for a very niche market. But overall the design and usefulness of it for the average phone user just isn't there yet. As far as the good stuff, it is good build quality that you'd expect from Samsung. The hinge doesn't feel week or floppy. It's pretty well balanced, not too difficult to open but doesn't easily close on accident. When you are using the foldable screen the fold in the middle is very hard to notice. And the screen is nice and bright so easy to read even in direct sunlight. The under screen camera is not all that noticeable unless you are really looking for it. But the quality of it is kind of meh. Also the positioning of it is very awkward. If you are using the phone unfolded and trying to use the selfie camera, you are offset to the side if you are holding the phone naturally centered. They really need a higher megapixel sensor here that they can auto shift and center you in the frame. The main back camera is descent quality on par with other galaxy devices, and the front screen punch hole camera is a lot better than the under screen inner camera. And the speakers unfortunately suffer from a similar problem. Because they are on the left side of the device if you open the phone vertically, it sounds like the audio is coming from the left as if you only had a single left channel. If you turn the phone into "landscape" then it's not that bad. But having opening the phone vertically then having to turn it landscape is kind of annoying. Similarly related, not all apps support the screen very well. Some open and only run in landscape. Others will work either way but are horrible about switching between the two. Like youtube for example, if you rotate the phone while in a full screen video it will change to a tiny 1/4th screen video rather than staying full screen or at least in theater mode. While on the subject of video, this phone is just not great for video consumption because of the form factor. The front screen is way to small for good video consumption. And the ratio of the inner screen just means tons of unused screen real estate and the resulting video smaller than a full screen video on a standard phone screen. Popular app TikTok is a prime example of this, the actual video on tiktok is smaller on the inner screen on this device than the video on say a S22 simply because of the aspect ratios. Many games suffer from similar problems. About the best use case for this phone is reading. But even that is problematic because the size of the screen makes some websites layout poorly. Things like horizontal scrolling instead of auto adjusting to the width of the screen is pretty common. Some screens that would normally show in mobile mode on a regular phone will render in desktop mode for this screen size, but the screen really isn't big enough for desktop mode. I just feel this screen size lands somewhere in an awkward middle of good screen sizes. Unfolded it would normally be to big of a screen to comfortably carry in a pocket. But it is to small to really take advantage of having a bigger screen, and the aspect ratio throws many things designed for mobile consumption off. The front screen is far too narrow compared to standard format phones, which causes large inconveniences like a very tiny / cramped on screen keyboard for typing. I really wanted to like this phone as the idea of being able to carry around a bigger screen for content consumption is very appealing. Unfortunately the sizes are just all wrong on this to do it. While using this phone it's inconvenient to unfold it every time I take it out of my pocket to do something, which means I end up using a smaller screen than most modern phones the majority of the time.

Awesome cellphone, fast, smoothly navigation between apps, good cameras, the only thing not great is the battery life

I've had a foldable phone for a couple of years now. I used to use a phone and tablet. With this phone i don't use my tablet anymore.

Yes, it is costly phone but large screen gives completely different feeling. Bestbuy lives up to their name.

Z fold 4 is very powerful and very confusing to use. It isnt a bad type of confusing, but coming from iPhone it was very difficult to grasp all the possibilities and use the features well on thr first day. Unlike buying a new iphone, this was very different from a candy bar phone but in a very good way.
