The only flaw that I noticed is that the camera also captures the base of the camera. I'm sure this can be fixed with a bigger tripod but I can't guarantee it. It's still not bad though. Overall the camera does take great pics and everything seems patched together flawlessly. Video is just as good as taking pics. Overall it's still amazing technology.

Pros: Small. Compact. Lightweight. Very simplistic as far as usability. Cons(Personal): • Quality is not up to par for my standards. 4k and 1080p footage looks worse than say a go pro 4 black or even iPhone 7 plus 4k. • Confined to the Samsung ecosystem. Even then you will need the newer Samsung phones. I think some of the galaxy notes should have access to the gear app. I'm an iPhone owner. There's no iOS app. If they had one I would have probably kept the gear and delt with the resolution problems. I have to jump through too many hurdles to get it uploaded to the internet with out it. Record on the gear 360. Hook to pc and upload it to software. Edit and Convert it down. Inject it with 360 metadata for YouTube. Then upload that file to YouTube. Gear360 app on Samsung compatible devices have maybe 1 or 2 clicks and done. Recommend only for Samsung users and can look past the video quality.

Great 360° / VR camera, I really have nothing bad to say other than that you should really have a compatible phone, unless you're OK with using the windows software. Oh, remembering it would make it a lot better. Maybe future firmware could prompt you to ask if you want to take your can with you when leaving (via geofencing).

This camera is a great concept and I'm enjoying the 360˚ view however, maybe it's just me but I would love to have the quality of the images a true 4k. You are limited on what you can control on the camera and Samsung support stinks. I found things the camera can do that are not mentioned in the manual and support said it couldn't do. For instance I was trying to take pictures of the room and couldn't get out of the way in time. I contacted support about it and they set you can't adjust the delay but if I had a Samsung phone I could remote trigger it. Well I'm an iPhone person and I'm not changing phones to do this. A few days later rolling through all the menus there is actually a place to change this setting... I think the options are 3, 5, 10 and 15 seconds. That's my biggest beef with the camera. Can't remote trigger on an iPhone, Support stinks from Samsung, and not true 4k. (ok so I have 3 beefs with it!) Anyone one of those would have possibly pushed me to 5 stars... nah, would have had to cover all three for a better rating but I'll give it a strong 4 stars!

I found it easy to use right out of the box! Shoots great video and pictures!

To start, I am a very big Samsung fan so I do have bias in this product. The item itself, though, is a huge hit among others who have not had the opportunity to use it before. The pictures are amazing, and the quality superb. I definitely recommend having the Samsung VR to use these pictures to the fullest, but Facebook also allows 360 pictures, which is amazing.

This is a great camara. The 360 videos and pictures are awesome. Really easy to connect with my Galaxy S7 and the app for the phone is really easy to use. I didn't install the software for the computer yet. Battery life is a lot better than the GoPro Hero4 black that I own also. The only problem is memory space on my phone because of the large videos.

Nice 1st gen camera with a few kinks. It does take some pretty interesting photos and videos. But the processing time, as others have mentioned, is a big draw back. I used the whole battery in a session, charged the battery and then started selecting a reviews photos and videos and that actually depleted the battery before I moved them all to my phone. I haven't tried editing a video while remaining keeping it as a 360, other than trimming the length (which is real easy to do). I have taken a 360 video and edited it to a standard frame video with fairly good results. You can crop and zoom allowing you to edit the video in a way that seems like you shot it with more than one camera. But at some crop/zoom levels people appear shorter/stockier due to some distortion from the bubble lens but it is fun.

Makes great 360 videos but Samsung needs to update the firmware to work with more mobile devices. You can only live view on a few Samsung mobile devices.

This is the most exciting thing i have bought in along time. Really easy to use works great with my gear vr and pairs with my samsung galaxy s7 definitely must have item.

Camera records really nice, but you will need a slefie stick to have it record a bit away from you. Once you play around with it for a bit you pickup tricks to use.

Grate surround camera. How did they fit all that stuff, two video cameras,and all the support required, in such a small ball. Results are great for the price.

Overall this is one of the best 360 affordable commercial solution for 360 video and picture... Easy to setup, connect and make movies on the spot. You must have Samsung phone to be able to operate and connect to it.

I've had this camera for about a month now and it is amazing!!! The 360 look is awesome for making cat videos. I've taken it to the beach and the memories that were made will be forever engrained within our minds.

I'm not a professional photographer by no means so I bought this because of some of tbe cool photos tbat I seen on my vr viewer. It does a great job but for what I paid for it I could ha e bought a good DSLR camera.

This is a great clear camera. The video and pictures it can take it just great. I am still getting used to shooting different angles so the stitching lines will not be as noticeable but overall this is great.

Amazing camera to capture the world around you. No longer view just what's in front of you the 360 camera has the ability to show entire room or entire landscape while you video or photograph your subjects.

Camera does everything as advertised and is easy to use. The unfortunate thing is that you can only get the app on new model Samsung phones.

love this camera. wish I hadn't lost it. I will definitely be buying another to replace it. this camera paired with the VR headset changes each get together. makes pictures into an experience
