It is convenient that it hooks up via Bluetooth to control from a phone. Sometimes finicky about hooking up via Bluetooth. Needs a better tutorial or instruction manual. A little hard to figure out the small screen menu on the camera at first, but fairly easy to operate after you figure it out. The clarity is much better in bright, natural outdoor light. Late evening and darker indoor shots are not as clear and true to color. Fun camera. We paired it with VR goggles for a fun Christmas gift.

For the price it does a great job. However I was under the impression that the final output would be in 4K quality; and it's not. It might capture in 4K but when your render it the quality does not even FEEL like 1080. Also there is no manual control of things such as ISO. So even when shooting outside it captures the video still at 1600 ISO which is very noisy. Other than that it is a nice step in the right direction.

Great little camera but just wish it would work with more then just Samsung phones.

I love the Gear 360! It's my favorite camera because I can pair it with my Samsung S7. Really easy to use and convenient to carry.

I bought the fly360 and returned it and bought the samsung and it is light years ahead of the fly camera

There are a few 360 cameras right now but Samsung is the best so far. After reading many reviews and testing the one i bought it is good. A little difficult to use without the app but you'll get use to it with time. The 360 app is the best way to use this camera and only with a Samsung phone I'm guessing.

The 2016 version is supposed to sync to an iphone but I wasn't able to figure it out, even following the directions explicitly. The 2017 Camera is smaller, syncs much more easily to the iphone and IS LESS EXPENSIVE! Buy the 2017 Camera!!!

Theres a lot you can do with a product that can record 360 video or take 180 pictures. The only thing I'd complain about is the quality indoors where there is poor lighting and the focusing sometimes. I'm not sure but i noticed you have to be a certain distance from the camera for it to focus on you.
