Really amazed at all the things this can do: track fitness, read texts, get calls, read emails, but the best part is being able to listen to your spotify without having to take your entire phone with you. Really amazing screen too - very bright and clear for being the size of a watch! Get one, it now works with iPhones too I just read so you have no excuse not to get this!

Nice product, sleek design, love that it's not bulky. It helps me not miss calls or texts. Battery life just ok, bands just ok. I ordered replacement bands on Amazon that have a true watch style clasp and it's much better now.

My husband got this for me for my birthday. I've been wanting a smartwatch to track fitness, especially my running distances and pace. I have found that this watch is great for that plus more, including blood pressure and sleep. It connects to my Droid phone easily enough and syncs data through that. I don't use it daily to count steps, but it does do that as well as how many floors you go up and down. I like how easy it is to listen to my music straight from the watch too, even Spotify. My only irritation is that I can't set intervals on the watch itself or through my app. I still need a running app for that sort of thing. I wish that they would update it so I could set it up like that, and if you can already I have not figured it out after extensive use. Overall though, it does what it should and is much more accurate than my running app.

This device plays well with my other Samsung devices, giving me accurate readings for activities, heart rate and sleep patterns. I have another app on my phone for activity, and it is close to the Gear Fit2 readings... Takes about 1+ hours to charge per day- I charge twice a day for shorter time periods, when I'm inactive (showering, watching TV, etc.)

I had the first gear fit that came out and loved it. But unfortunately it gave out, so I had a reason to buy a new one. love the gear fit two, more up to date and just as easy to use as the first one. It keeps me on track with my fitness.

I have found this to be a very comfortable fitness tracker with an amazing array of functions. Storing music and linking to wireless headphones was seamless and straightforward. It has just about every feature I could want. I am not sure of the heart rate monitor accuracy, as there have been times when the readout on the tracker has been quite a bit higher than my pulse at that time, but that may have been a timing issue. Like that the percentage battery life left is displayed on the tracker, however, that wouldn't be such an advantage if it didn't go through power quite so rapidly. I haven't tried any of the real power saving approaches, but I'm getting a little over a day of battery life after charging to 100%. Overall, I like it. Would recommend with caveats.

I love all the functions of the watch and the Samsung health app. The watch is comfortable and easy to use. I do wish the battery lasted longer and the band was more secure. I have had the watch fall of a few times.

Easy to use and screen is easy to read. Only draw back for me is that the battery doesn't last more than a day or two. The price you pay for the bright screen I guess. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would buy it again.

I went from a clip on fitbit to the Gear Fit2 watch, like the watch features, wish it would show the date, just would be handy. It does not track miles in anything but walking/running. I use an exercise bike and it only records steps. Keeping the walking feature on all day to track my miles runs the battery down quickly. There is a big discrepancy between the Fitbit and the Gear watch on tracking distance, the watch shows less steps and miles. I've tracked the walk around my neighborhood with 2 pedometers and the fitbit and it's .95 miles on all 3, the watch only shows .66 so I'm not sure how accurate it is. I like the different exercise features and the notifications of texts. All around I like it even if I have to charge it every other day, every day if I leave the exercise feature on.

This is the second one that I've purchased. this one I purchased for my wife. I liked mine so much I convinced her to get one. again the only shortfalls to this is the battery life is very short I have to charge it every two to three days. although the charge time is very quick and putting it on the charger it's extremely easy because it's connected to the charger with magnets. the Bluetooth range of the device is much shorter than the first version was. it's water-resistant unlike the first version was which is a good improvement and the way it attaches to my wrist feels very secure and there's no worry that it's going to fall off it has 4 gigs of memory and depending on the size of the songs you can put anywheres from 800 to a thousand songs on it. Setup was very easy.

I had no issues getting everything set up on my iPhone. It is easy to use. I like the sleep tracking but it resets if you get up in the middle of the night. It does seem to track sleep better on the app.

In addition to tracking your steps, heart rate, food/water intake, and sleep quality, you can also answer your phone and check emails and text messages, just like Agent 99. I often have to keep the volume on my phone off and with this fitness watch it vibrates on my wrist, letting me know that I have an incoming message or call. I can also delete emails from the watch, which I think is a great feature. It also knows which exercise your doing and switches automatically when you go from one activity to another. Another feature that I really like is the ability to use Spotify, especially at the gym. I keep the phone on my arm and with wireless headphones I don't have the ear-bud cord getting in the way (this is a great feature for me because I manage to hook the cord on everything I walk by). If I want to skip, replay, change genres, etc., I can do it right from the phone. I have no regrets buying this watch.

I got this for free with my note 7 so I cannot complain, however, I don't use it. I got all excited because it has the heart rate monitor and I work out all the time and thought it would help me see where my heart rate is during my workouts and to see how much I'm burning since I mostly lift weights verses being on a machine that tells you. The thing I don't like is that you have to tell it you're about to workout...it doesn't just sense that you are moving faster or that your heart is beating more so if you forget to turn on the workout function, it's basically a watch. It also didn't hold charge very long even when I wasn't really using it. Overall, I wouldn't pay money for it because honestly it just sits on my shelf.

After having to return my Basis Peak due to their recall, I did a lot of research on a new watch to replace it. After reading reviews both on this site and on others, I decided to go with the GearFit2, and I couldn't have made a better decision. It is small and lightweight, I sometimes forget I am wearing it. I love the design and the ability to customize the faces and fitness options to your liking. It has the ability to track many types of workouts and even gives you little shoutouts at your chosen interval during a workout to keep your motivated. The heart rate monitor is very accurate, as well as the steps! I use it with my Galaxy Note 5 and it works flawlessly. The only downside I would say is not tracking the actual cycle of sleep you are in, but I can't take away a star just for that. I would absolutely recommend this watch!

This fitness watch is fantastic as your personal fitness reports can be read on the watch. Easy to read and navigate screens. Also syncs well with my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone for e-mails, text, calls and so on.

For the prices the Gear fit 2 is hard to beat, Steps, Stairs, GPS, Music, touch screen, HR, Sleep. I love the sleep and heart rate monitor. Only one issue is you have to recharge every 2.5 days.

After using this product for roughly over a month now, I am happy that I made this purchase. I had owned the older version of the Samsung Gear Fit but after leaving it charging too long at one point - it couldn't hold a charge for even a day and would die. This one has not done that to me and it has been able maintain it's battery life for about 2 days with a full battery and charges quickly (about 2 hours from 10%). But because of that issue with the previous one, I have not left it charging for more than a night. There are a lot of other features to it that I've greatly enjoyed using including the heart rate monitor. Obviously take the measurements with a grain of salt, but it at least gives a pretty good range. One thing that has bothered me is the floor count. I don't know how it keeps track of it, but in my opinion it definitely doesn't do a great job (greatly overestimating the amount of floors you climb) - one day it said I climbed 250 floors (and I'm pretty sure I only walked up and down my flight of stairs 4 times that day). The other slight improvement I would like to see are the watch faces available - the previous version let you customize one with a picture, this one does no such thing which I find a little disappointing and the other options are pretty limited (but newer versions/options are coming out so there's that as well). Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a lower cost fitness band that is still pretty reliable when determining steps and heart rate. It notifies me (with a little lag) when I have a text or notification or when I'm still for too long. You can also customize what notifications you would like it to do, so that's also pretty cool. Plus, it's water proof and I can attest that it has survived multiple showers, floating trips, and pool visits so far. I'd be afraid to dive with it (I'm not sure at what depth it was recommended) but the fact that I can shower with it (especially when I forget to take it off) has been fantastic. Another feature I have greatly liked is that it will keep track of your sleep at night automatically if you wear it while you're sleeping and it will tell you the percent efficiency of that sleep about an hour after you wake-up and it notices you moving (once again, maybe take this with a grain of salt - I noticed that after I had woken up but stayed in bed for another hour or two reading and looking at my phone, it still considered that sleep for some reason).

I received this as a free gift when i purchased my new Galaxy Note 7 and was pleasantly surprised with it's capabilities. It's been a real help monitoring and recording data towards my fitness goals. And has even served as motivation to be more active. It works quickly, and reliable with my Note 7. Even with my Note 3 during the recall. You can download different watch faces and some apps. Just with there would be a few more of those, like a calculator like the normal gear devices. Maybe in the future with more exposure to developers. My only beef with this is that it was difficult to save and transfer my data between phones when i switched. Even with Smart Switch. But overall, i would recommend.
