This was exactly what I was looking for in a smart watch. Texts, emails, notifications... everything you want.

This watch was an upgrade from my Fitbit and does everything I wished the Fitbit would have done! The data it collects is outstanding! Not to mention it has a sleek and slender design - much better than the bulky smart watches on the market currently. Loving the watch as an everyday tracker and for my runs!

I like the Gear is keeps me on track with reminders. It also, can record to My Fitness Pal. Great investment.

Best and most helpful purchase I have made in a long time! This kit has saved me many times when my battery dies and I am not anywhere to charge my phone! I just carry the kit in my purse...it's tiny and light and so easy to keep on hand. If i lose it today, I will be searching immediately to purchase a replacement!

I love my Gear fit2. I like how it tracks my heart rate, steps, how it counts the different types of workout so I can enjoy it vs. keeping up with what number i'm on. Also when I'm not around my phone I can look at my watch to see who calls and it gives the option to reject or answer. In addition I can check email

I brought this for my wife. It was an easy and simple setup. She uses it everyday to track her steps!

I really enjoy this watch/fitness tracker and wear it every day. It is particularly useful to me since I am an avid runner and run 2-3 miles daily. It keeps a log of all my runs so I can continue to push myself. also it tracks my location so I always know my exact pace and distance. Finally one of my favorite features is music storage and bluetooth headphone connectivity, this is amazing compared to logging around my phone for music. A+

GearFit 2 has many more features. Easy to use. New band is more comfortable. Only one complaint - stair feature is totally inaccurate. This was a big disappointment; otherwise, I really like the porduct.

I got this for free with my note 7 so I cannot complain, however, I don't use it. I got all excited because it has the heart rate monitor and I work out all the time and thought it would help me see where my heart rate is during my workouts and to see how much I'm burning since I mostly lift weights verses being on a machine that tells you. The thing I don't like is that you have to tell it you're about to workout...it doesn't just sense that you are moving faster or that your heart is beating more so if you forget to turn on the workout function, it's basically a watch. It also didn't hold charge very long even when I wasn't really using it. Overall, I wouldn't pay money for it because honestly it just sits on my shelf.

It certainly does what I want it to...steps are reasonably accurate, floors are just sorta accurate. RHR is right on; however, during exercise the heart rate may be off a few beats/min but is close enough to tell my position in the training range. I've used it while hiking and the distance is close enough. I've not worn it in the shower so I can't comment on the water resistance. If you're a pro you probably won't be satisfied but for the "amateur" who just wants to know generally how they're doing it should be fine. There are a number of optional faces in the Samsung store.

It's what I've been looking for, a self challenge everyday to beat my previous day's record. Would've been better if it had a way to have a stop watch, or a second hand on the clock. I'm a nurse so instead of just looking at my watch for assessments, I need to pull out my phone or use my other watch.

I received this as a free gift when i purchased my new Galaxy Note 7 and was pleasantly surprised with it's capabilities. It's been a real help monitoring and recording data towards my fitness goals. And has even served as motivation to be more active. It works quickly, and reliable with my Note 7. Even with my Note 3 during the recall. You can download different watch faces and some apps. Just with there would be a few more of those, like a calculator like the normal gear devices. Maybe in the future with more exposure to developers. My only beef with this is that it was difficult to save and transfer my data between phones when i switched. Even with Smart Switch. But overall, i would recommend.

I love the way it syncs with my phone. it is very easy to use and so much better than my last!

Bought the watch 2 month ago now and I'm pretty fine with it. The battery isn't the biggest (a 1h run with GPS needs about 25-30%) and the software isn't clear but the rest is pretty good. I like it

My only disappointment is it won't work when I swim laps. I tried using the stopwatch and nothing works under water. It's difficult to figure how to stream pandora but a great fitness watch.

Love this watch for not only tracking my steps, but my exercise, and sleep. Much improved from the first gear fit watch. Better designed for the wrist and really like that I do not have to tell it I am going to sleep, the watch knows. Anyway, great watch and super easy to use :).

Got this for free as a promotional offer for buying a new phone, and I'm so glad I got it! I use it to keep track of my workouts and health info. So awesome that all that information can sync to my phone even if my phone isn't with me while I'm out running.

Gets notifications from all messaging apps. Pretty accurate steps and heart rate. I noticed that you need to take more than 16 steps if you are going up stairs for it to register. Great product. Would definitely recommend!

I looked at several of the fitness watches and found that the Gear Fit gives me just what I need. An activity tracker with basic smart watch features. Its easy to read and syncs beautifully with my Samsung phone. Only thing to watch for is making sure the band is secure when wearing.
