    Low quality construction, strap broke in first 2 m

    I have had the watch for just 2 months and the strap fell apart. The strap did not brake due to misuse, the rivets simply fell out and now the strap will not stay connected to the metal connector. I called Samsung support and they said that it would cost $250 to fix the phone if I sent it to them, or I could just buy a new strap on the net. I requested to speak to the manager and the manager said the same thing. I tried to reason with the manager that a $600 watch should not break in the first 2 months, and if it does, Samsung should replace the strap for free. I explained to the manager that a bad review was not worth the $25 (retail) that the strap would cost to replace, but he was having none of it. So here is my bad review. It is one thing to make a bad product, but it is even worse not to correct the problem when it costs so little.

    Stopped working properly after the first month of use! Bluetooth continually disconnects! Nothing more then an overpriced watch! No help from Geek Squad was told they would replace it with a refurbished model! I didn't buy it used shouldn't be replaced with a used one in less then 2 months old! May never buy anything from Best Buy again and their Geek Squad was useless and a waste of money! They told me to go to Plano to have it fixed which is way out of my way or they could ship it off for a week or two and there may be an extra charge to me! What did I pay Geek Squad for!

    Doesn't seem as user friendly as the Apple watch

    We decided we liked the Apple watch better than the Samsung Gear S, because the Apple watch is much more user friendly, so to speak. Enough that we are more than willing to pay the higher price for the Apple watch, which is roughly an additional $130.00. Plus the fact that with the Samsung Gear, it is only compatible with At&t phone service, and we are verizon customers. So this alone is a huge factor in choosing between the Samsung Gear s and the Apple watch. At least it is for us.

    It's a watch. It should always show the time. It has a setting to always show the time, it's buried in the menu system. When you finally find it and enable it, the simple act of wearing a coat or jacket causes the watch to call people, play music, any function the watch is capable of performing. It should require the user to press the button on the front to enable swiping on the watch face. I can only wear the watch on fair weather days when a jacket is not really required.

    As soon as I left the store watch started giving me problems. Exchanged watch twice, third time this watch malfunctioned I asked for refund .This product has hardware glitch Samsung not telling people about this problem.

    The battery cradle broke in less than 3 months. Best buy does not stand behind their products and Samsung will only replace the product possibly after a 15 day period of sending it back for a evaluation. This is only maybe.

    This phone isn't that user friendly, and not that many apps available for download. I hate Tizen software, and would prefer google. I do however, love how it looks!

    I purchased my Gear S in December 2014. Tomorrow I will receive my 4th replacement. It's great when it works but it has been VERY unreliable.
