I owned the Gear 2 neo before buying this watch and I really liked it. This watch is hands down a beautiful piece of technology with a great user interface. The only downside is that you can no longer listen to music or answer calls on the watch. I admit I didn't use this feature often, but it was really nice when my hands were full and I couldn't grab my phone. Not sure why they eliminated this feature, but overall it's a great watch.

My overall experience with the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 has been a great one. I love that you can respond to text messages without having to pull out my phone. The battery life is amazing. I find myself charging my watch roughly every other day with moderate use. the menus are easy to learn and using the rotating dial makes it even easier to navigate. The predictive typing is very accurate. I have only had a few times where it did not recognize what I was trying to type. Lack of apps is not a big deal, but I would like to have apps for banking. All in all I like the watch.

The round design and rotating bezel are genius. There is a lot of hype about apple watches and products but Samsung is always way ahead of them and apple is playing catch up. This is the best smart watch on the market. Must buy.

This watch is easy to use and easy to personalize, but there's no speaker, which is highly disappointing. Overall I'm happy with it, but I will be upgrading once they figure out a speaker for a watch. Also, my band is breaking at the point it connects to the watch. I have Geek Squad coverage, so make sure you get the coverage if you buy the watch. I can't wear it for more than 2 minutes without the band detaching from the watch.

I have had my watch almost 3 months now. I love the watch and have found it easy to use. Very happy with it. My only complaint is the silicone bands. The magnetic clasps separated from the band after less than 2 months of regular/light use. Called Samsung and they will not replace or repair. Replacement bands are expensive. Wish I had spent the extra $50 for the Classic version.

I purchased the G2. The watch is very nice, fit is very comfortable, and appearance very classy. Battery life was okay, need to charge it every day. I would put mine on the charger at night and it was good all day. Don't think it would of made it two days. Lots of apps, and watch faces. My problem is it sucked as a fitness watch. Sure it will count steps, but for an over all fitness tracker it was no good as the heart rate monitor was no good. Returning it today and going back to my fitbit. The app I was using was S Health as it was supposed to track most activities and came with my samsung phone. I would not of returned this watch if the heart rate monitor would have been better. I did factory resets I messed with different apps it was just no good. I'm not a runner so most of my activities were treadmill and stationary bike. It worked better on the treadmill if you kept you arm down, however it did not work at all on stationary bikes. All trends and active minutes are populated of the heart rate monitor, therefore with the HR monitor in accuracy or not working at all, it was hardly effective to say the least. I spent most of my time being frustrated and distracted while working out with this watch than what it was worth.

The first worry I had before I purchased the gear s2 was that it may be too small. After using it for a couple of days of texting, reading, and using the different functionalities I found it wasn't too small for me. It is responsive, the pictures are clear, and it feels well built. There are lots of custom watch faces to choose from. There a couple of features I do not like. The app selection is not as wide ranging as I wish. I also with I could place a phone call through the watch without the phone. Overall I like it and I am using more than I first thought.

Bought this watch the day it came out. Great watch with a weak band. The Elastomer broke off right at the attachment point. I bought this watch to use on my motorcycle. And for that it works great. But my leather motorcycle jacket managed to rip the band off the attachment point. I have many watches and even a few with rubberized bands and never had my jacket break one. I returned to it Best Buy. And spent days looking for the Classic and found one a few days later at a local Best Buy. And sofar the Cassic hasn't been a problem. Not even the S Voice. It works great for me I don't know if it's my voice but I am kind of a loud talker. And it's much better looking. I wouldn't recommend the standard but I would recommend the Classic.

Great watch. Very responsive and so far, a very impressive battery life (it's been about 36 hours since I last charged it and I still have about 15% juice left). I love the variety of watch faces. I would like to see more watch bands though. I also wish the messages were compatible with the Textra app. Anyway, so far so good.

It will only be a week (tomorrow since I have had this so far so good the apps are slowly coming I just loaded milk music where i can can troll the music strew from my wrist as for my watch face I downloaded the ESPN watch face where it keeps up date with the current team playing and f i pressx on the watch face t opens up all my favorite teams

I've used samsung gear s before and now gear s2. I've compared with other smartwatches and so far, I am very impressed with the new design, UI, and functionality.

I love samsung products. I have a S6 edge+, galaxy tab S2 and have ALWAYS bought samsung products. So when this smart watch came out I was stoked. I have been wearing it for 24 hours and will be returning today. Let's start with the battery: samsung claims you can get 2-3 days, try less than 24 hours with BARLEY ANY USE. I even turned off the annoying "wake" screen command because it kept turning on while I was trying to sleep. Speaking of sleep, the watch will remind you that you have been inactive for over an hour all through the night while you try to sleep. S Health is a horrible fitness tracker. The step counter said I only went 3,000ish steps where my fitbit hr says I got over 10,000. The sleep tracker doesn't work and I can only assume it is because of what I mentioned above. The apps that are offered are HORRENDOUS. samsung pay isn't even available! If you want to quickly respond to a text, voice recognition would be the way to go however it has no idea what your saying and you have to speak directly into the microphone so you look a little silly. This had so much potential. So much! It is a glorified g-shock watch with a fancy turning bezel. It does nothing that a normal watch couldn't do already and it is $300! Totally disappointed.

I bought this watch a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! The battery works great, lasts me all day and it's easy to set up with my galaxy s6!

product met my expectations based on the reviews and data I read in advance. it's easy to use/synch and makes wearing a watch much more fun.

Before i bought this watch I read and watched tons of reviews. For the most part this watched seemed to be talked about negatively. i personnally have three android wear devices. In my opinion tizen is a great operating system for smatch watches. Its easy to use and navigate from a watch interface. Many times i looked at my android wear device to check the time and found myself swiping through countless notifications. That was a pain. I like the device and feel its a great transition from office to weekend .

If you are on android and want a smartwatch, then this is the one. I like it 10 times better than my moto 360.

The only negative thing I can come up with for this version of the s2 is the band attracts dirt like crazy. It is something I really should have taken into consideration before buying, but I was just so excited to get it I didn't care. I am going to upgrade to the classic version in the rose gold finish. Now, onto my review. I love this watch! I didn't need the 3g version which allows you to use the watch to the fullest potential since you don't need a Bluetooth connection to your physical phone, but you do need to have a separate data plan. Those people who complain about a lack of speaker for phone calls, just have zero idea of what they are buying. You need your phone in order to use this watch. It does give you the capability to write out full text messages and use emoticons, albeit, you are limited to 160 characters, but I'm not trying to write novels with my watch. I was not looking for a watch that offered everything my phone had, I have a phone that can do that =) I wanted something that I can use as a fitness tracker, send a quick text, get news updates, etc and looked good!! I'm a very simple girl, just wanting something fun for herself. I've only had it a few days, so I'm sure there is so much more to discover. Samsung offers a lot of apps that you can download, different watch faces and even a couple little games. I can get the weather where I am and cities that I plan on visiting. There is a map app called "here" that you can download and use your watch as a gps(haven't really had a chance to play with this yet, but it looks like it would be good when exploring a new city). It does come with 4gigs of internal storage and you can save photos and use those photos as a watch faces. Battery life depends on your use. If you are nonstop getting every single possible notification available, have the screen set to highest brightness, a watch face that is all bright colors and constantly playing on it, the battery will die quickly. You have to be realistic, and be smart. There is a quick pull down menu that allows you to adjust brightness, put it into do not disturb mode and power saving mode. You do not have to go searching through all the settings to find these few gems that will help improve your battery life. This watch is a great accessory that gives me the ability to be somewhat connected without always having my phone in my face.

Nice design, love the look and moving bezel. Returning it because it is not compatible with any of the apps I bought it for use with. It forces you to use their shealth or nikerun and milk music - no MapMyFitness. Still haven't figured out how to put music on it to run with. There are barely any apps, and the whole Galaxy is difficult and minimally functional. No GPS for run tracking. It's good looking and I want to like it badly. But I don't like to be forced to use specific apps. That's the whole reason I refuse to buy Apple. Sigh. Back to shopping.

First off... I am keeping this watch and not returning it.. I feel the watch does 90% of what I had hoped it would do.. It looks great, good battery life, and functions awesome.. Only issues I have (which might get corrected with better apps) are: the heart rate monitor is not a consistent monitor so doesnt pick up when I begin a workout (like a spin class or other stationary cardio exercises). 2nd is none of the apps that samsung has to offer have a calorie counter, which would go back to the heart rate monitor not being constant. Last is the lack of apps on Samsung. I had a Moto 360 before this and I like the amount of apps, but the watch itself needed a lot of help.
