I first tried a 500GB 860 EVO and when I saw how it breathed new life into my 14 year-old laptop, I bought this 1TB version for our newer Lenovo. I was surprised to see such a performance boost on the Lenovo, especially since it had been equipped with a respectable 7200rpm hard drive. The most noticeable improvements are in boot time and multi-tab internet browsing speed. I love this thing!

No issues with this refurb, wouldn't even know that's the case. Plenty of space and tons of speed!

What's not to love? May as well have been advertised as "NEW". It's a Samsung SSD (860 EVO) for a great price. AND, when I looked for how long it's been "on" it had less than 3 hours of "power on time" and 6 power cycles, which the majority could easily represent testing by Geek Squad after the initial buyer returned it. No problems since purchase 3/4 a year ago.

I was worried, I’ve had bad experiences with refurbished products before. This was like now, except it didn’t have the original packaging. But I installed it in my PC, it’s fast and has worked perfectly so far (two months)

I bought 2 of these. They are fast, quite and was easy to install. Highly recommended.

I have been using it for about a year on an old laptop. Some ram and this SDD gave it a real boost of speed. Is a complete another laptop. It's a no thinker to add ram and this SDD to improve any laptop or pc. A full year and still turn on fast and open programs in with speed.

Ran disk utility as soon as I got drive & it only had 1gb total write data & 9 hours of use so was pretty much brand new. It’s been inside my PS4 Pro since I got it and I always load into games faster than my friends in fact they all got one too just to have a chance of loading in faster than me because they were sick of me picking characters before them in games we play.

I'm not sure how much I trust a geek squad refurbished product but I am only using this as external storage for my Xbox One X so, since it is only being used to store games and not important files, I feel like the savings are worth the risk. So far it is performing as expected.

Samsung is one of my favorite electronic technology brands, and this SSD has won my respect. I finally decided to switch my boot drive from a HDD to this Samsung SSD, and MAN was I missing out! I'm happy to see that the prices on these things are quite reasonable now says.

The computers were running out of storage and running a little slow. Saw these SSD at Best Buy. Bought, duplicated and replaced old hard drive with this. Much faster boot up and no more complaints from family. Placed a GeekSquad certified refurbished still going with no issues. More than 1 year later

If these very come back in stock for the price I paid (about $80-$85), I'll probably buy another one in a heartbeat. Don't be wary about the "refurbished" tag on these... I ran Crystal Disk Info on this and was only power cycled 10ish times with less than an hour of "on" time. They are basically new... this is it chief

Obviously YMMV but I've purchased about half a dozen GS refurb SSDs thru both BestBuy.com and BestBuy's eBay store. All of them appear to be returns that have been wiped and are effectively brand new. Considering the savings on a high tier ssd like this or the faster 900-series it is a spectacular deal.

Refurbished but looked like mint condition and works great

I had used many different brands of SSD's, but the quality and performance of Samsung prroducts (SATA or NVME, ...) are beyond comparison. Even if this was a refurbished item, still it is working great. Two thumbs way up!

This SSD is small and quick. Much better performance than spinning HD.

First SSD I've ever owned. Total writes were 860 GB when I received it. Boot time is amazing for Windows 10 pro. From power off to desktop in 23 seconds (I have two SSDs now with different OS) and the migration of large files is loads faster than my old HDD.
