    Hooked it up to my PS5 as external storage for older PS4 games. Took mere seconds to format and moving games to it from the main PS5 SSD drive was quick. I have bought 2 refurb drives from Best Buy at great prices and they just work. I didnt test this one but most chatter online is that these drives are returns with little to no use so the drive are practically brand new. I got this one 1TB for $69.99

    I was a bit hesitant to buy this, but after reading pretty good reviews by others, I gave it a shot. The 1TB Samsung 870 EVO SATA SSD arrived very quickly in an original box, and when I powered it up, it appeared to have had a little over 1TB of data written to it and power on hours of 31 days. So, yeah, not too bad for the price. I would buy it again.

    I decided to change a laptop from hard drive to ssd for fear of age deterioration. After replacement speed significantly increased and, while not guaranteed, i feel better about a newer storage medium. Neighbor had recommended Samsung because he does this at work and hasn't had a ssd Sumsung failure yet.

    My go to for replacing mechanical hdd's. Have purchased many of these and Samsung SSD's have never given many any problems and the difference in speed is night and day

    Originally purchased in April 2024. Has been working strong for a year in a Mac Mini Late 2012 model as a primary drive. Everything fit perfectly with a 2nd drive installed.

    Wow, what a difference! I installed this in an old Windows 10 computer that has a 4th Gen Intel i5 processor. You could literally hear the data being read and written to the old spinning hard drive. Boot up time went from 10 minutes to about 30 seconds. Amazing upgrade that breathed new life into an old machine

    The refurbished Samsung 870 EVO 1TB drive worked fine as an upgrade to an older computer. No issues at all with it being refurbed.

    The drive had only been powered on a few times, less than a GB had been written. YMMV, but I was more than pleased to get a great drive at a nice price.

    I bought two of these drives. One is now in my PS4 and has improved my user experience exponentially. The other is going into my desktop and I expect it to perform just as well. I will buy morebof these to expand my storage.
