Good deal when on Sale, I saved $60 over buying new. I've purchased 2 of these in the last year to use for storing media for Plex. Both of them had very minimal data written to them (less than 100GB's each).

Heard mixed reviews about geek squad refurbished items but this works perfectly. Got it on sale for $99 as well. It’s a lot quieter and much faster than my old 1TB Seagate HDD that came with the laptop.

how is this "geek squad certified and tested for quality" the connection port on the back was completely broken off and couldn't even be connected to test. i already had my doubts when the package showed up but 3 days later i couldn't finish a new pc because it wouldn't even connect. this is keeping me away from anything having any association with "geek squad quality"

Drive would not authenticate with Samsung Magician. Question the quality of the refurbishment from Best Buy even though they are listed and Samsung Certified.

While it was a refurbished item, it worked seamlessly and without issue on my Playstation 4 Pro. While I dis not conciously notice a difference in upload and download speeds when playing games, it is none the less just as good as the HDD that the console originally came in from the factory and would highly recommend the item for those who wish to do a similar upgrade.

This type of SSD hard drive is very fast and very reliable. I avoided replacing my computer because with this hard drive I got speed and security, it is very good this brand of solid state hard drive is very good, I highly recommend it.

I use the Samsung 870 QVO 2tb ssd for games on my Xbox Series X. Load times are great and I have never had a issue with it disconnecting. I bought a adapter to connect it to my usb port on the Series X and now I can play all my Xbox one games off of this ssd. It was a great buy.

I rarely buy refurbished storage, but took a gamble, item arrived in a brown box with plastic protecting the drive, I plugged it in to Ubuntu, disk was readable and No File system (which is good). I then proceeded to install it in my computer, Samsung Magician said it had only been used for 18 hours, and only had 227GB written to it. I ran Short, and Long Drive diagnostics, and Drive Benchmarks and everything passed with flying colors, Very satisifed for game storage, which was my intentions for this drive

Excellent condition. Health of the drive was excellent. Immediately when it arrived I tested it on the Samsung disc magician to verify authenticity and health of the drive. Only 12 hours on mine. Excellent deal.

Samsung makes the best drives. These are fast and reliable. I bought 2 of them for backups and they work great.

I use this as external SSD, with some USB 3.0 cases. They work great and download/upload is faster than with with my old HDD, which started to have a clicking noise.

2nd that I buy refurbished 2tb, so far so good, I did not measure any speed, can't lose for the price

Great bang for your buck, sometimes risky to use a refurbished hard drive, but in my case it works like a charm

Before I made the purchase, I was told by friends who have made similar purchases to be ready for a bit of RNG. Sometimes, you get one with a bit of wear. Sometimes, you get one near-perfect. This ‘refurb’ was pristine: 100% health with 0TBW according to Samsung Magician and CrystalDiskInfo. Take the chance. Do it.

Working like a charm. Drive in perfect condition. Packing was a little worn but otherwise all is good.
