Been using refurbished Hard Drives all my life and haven't had an issue with any of them. Though do buy with care.

This is certified refurbished by Geek Squad. So, I was a bit worried. But I plugged it in and my pc recognized it right away. And I completed the steps to get it ready for use. And no problems to date. works great.
