Working well with extra steps

If the drive is not showing up on your computer, follow these steps (Windows):
1. Press the Win key and search "disk management". Click "Create and format hard disk partitions".
2. In the bottom section, next to your drive name (For me it says "Disk 0 | Basic | 7452.02 GB | Online" but it may be different for you.), right click the long rectangle that has "Unallocated" in it.
3. Click "New Simple Volume".
4. Click "Next" three times (on page 3, select your drive letter).
5. Select "Format this volume with the following settings:", then select "NTFS" for "File System". You may also rename the drive.
6. Finish the setup, and you should be good to go!

Drive is in very good condition, and seems to be working well. Just over 6TB written before I received it, and drive health is at 100%. I just had to follow extra steps to make it work. Great price as well.

Beware of BestBuy Scam! and LIES!

Purchased with TotalTech Protection; however, received 1TB drive (at BestBuy fault for not checking prior to shipping). Bestbuy agent promised to make up difference on a new drive with Case Number: 345380887 if I returned the 1TB drive they had sent on any 8TB drive. Agent approved case number with his manager. Returned the 1TB drive, ordered exact same model, and subsequent call to price discount new purchase was refused, and had to cancel. Beware of BestBuy scamming customers with fake promises and scammed deliveries!
