As a refurb I had concerns, however this must have been a return from someone who never initialized the drive as it only had 982GB written. Enough for one entire wipe by best buy. Sale was worth the price. Update it, grab the Samsung nvme driver too for SMART data.

Disk statistics revealed the drive had less than 5 GB total writes to it, which is essentially nothing. No issues with this product. Works as advertised and is extraordinarily fast to boot.

Although a risk worth taking! When it came I used my brothers computer to transfer the data from my old SSD best buy said they would take 4 days to even look at transferring the data for me. Overall once the data was transferred onto this new SSD it was great and has been great so far.

This is basically the best PCIE gen 3 drive out there. Its basically brand new; it had less than 200GB written, which is great! I’ve always trusted Samsung drives, and this one continues that trust.

I purchased several, and they all were in similar condition.
