Fast, cool, good SSD. I've had it in a desktop and an external case, and it has never throttled or thrown an error. 2 years of using it or thereabouts, and it's still running like new.

I already own several of those but recently I had decided to buy two as refurbished from BestBuy. They came at a 20% discount with respect to the new edition. The SMART gave a reading of ~2TB and ~4TB written, out of an expected TBW lifetime of 1200TB, representing 0.15/0.3% of the entire lifetime. For all practical purposes, this is brand new. They also were shipped using the original package, incl manual. No way of telling that they were refurbished. I highly recommend them!

This product is easy to install and is very user friendly. I have zero complements about it. Great for its price as well. Just an overall great purchase.

After installing, SMART showed my drive only had 3 power-on hours, so essentially brand new. Drive works great and is perfect for anyone needing more storage with an open m.2 slot

196gb written when i got this drive and tested it with magician, drive is genuine, reads and writes at advertised speeds, drive has been perfect for me since installing for game drive in my ryzen 7 5800x3d.

Amazing! Refurbished is basically new. Only powered on a total of 2 times. Only had a couple hundred Gigs of data written. Like I said, basically new. Upgraded my laptop's 1TB to this 2TB. Much faster with double the storage.

For a used (refurb) it hits pretty hard. Put it in a startech Pcie card in a pcie 3.0 x 8 slot and getting 3467 MB/sec READ and 3445 writes on crystal diskmark In a way better than the pcie 4.0 drives because it does not need a heatsink. The copper sticker keeps it under 60c most the time. Idles at 42c and 57c gaming off it. FYI it had a strange read write pattern on it when I checked the hours. Only 2 boots and 1.8TB written to it and 330MB read from it.

This was an ideal upgrade for my laptop that had an unused m.2 slot but had a traditional HDD. It's fast and has plenty of space.

So far no issues and works as expected. Runs much faster than my previous SSD and the capacity is great for the price!

Samsung 970 EVO SSD is probably the best in terms of speed, quality and speed. It always will be my first choice for SSD.

I heard on reddit that these were refurbished drives were basically just returns and as such were practically new but for cheaper. I finally bit the bullet on one to upgrade my laptop and was completely satisfied. I checked it when I installed it and it had a total of 11 powered on hours, so yeah, basically brand new. It transferred my Steam library just as quickly as you'd expect from an NVMe. It has the quality and performance you'd expect from a Samsung drive and at an excellent price.

Fast and cheap just usung it for storing games so refinished isn’t a big deal works good would by again

2TB is plenty for a drive, don’t have any complaints whatsoever. Transfer speeds are as expected

Bought the refurbished drive after reading other reviews and I am happy. Came with original box and drive has only been powered on for 14 hours prior to me receiving it so it's barely used showed less than .5 TB being written to it in the past. Also gave me a good reason to blow the dust out my machine. Ran benchmarks and it hits it advertised speeds happy I decided to go refurbished and save a couple bucks

Works flawlessly and keeps speed up thanks to DRAM. No issues with being refurbished.
