Amazing drive, not great QA for this "refurb". My drive lasted exactly 100 days before dropping completely from my machine without any warning. Just after the 90 day warranty, how convenient!

Nice discount on a low time SSD, daughter now enjoys large storage on her laptop and, of course, that makes me happy as well.

Best Buy does NOT check these before reselling returned items. I bought a 2TB NVME drive, what I got was a 250gb NVME with a 2TB sticker on it. So frustrated. My system couldn't even see the drive either. I could see it in the BIOS, but that's IT. If your buying a large capacity SSD that is Geek Squad refurbished, just go in knowing your chances are 50/50 you'll get the drive you bought. It'll only be complicated with the return process. This is a SCAM where people buy a small drive (250gb) then buy a large capacity one. Swap the stickers, and send back the smaller drive, disguised as a larger drive. They get a large drive at cheap drive prices. BUYER BEWARE, Geek Squad doesn't test these returned drives before sending out.

Be careful about geek squad refurbs. Mine had very high usage when compared to total hours on according to Samsung utility. It might have been previously used to mine Chia or something.

Feels really scammy having things like ssds with only a 1 month return window since they are refurbished. Do you stand by your refurbishing or not??? Bought this back around Christmas time and it works just enough to think there aren't any issues with it. It shows up in windows, capacity is correct, you can write to it. But you are out of luck if you think it will be able to consistently locate that data or use it when you need it. I have had to move several games from this drive to my smaller windows install drive because some games are just unplayable if stored on this thing. Thought I was getting a deal, but this was a huge mistake. Don'\t buy refurbished from best buy until they are willing to stand buy the products for a long enough time that you can actually test if they work.

It's the best one, I'm just sad about the way I was attended, cause I asked about 6 times with different attendants if this or the pro one was the best for my laptop, and each time they said different things about it, that yes and no, that I should buy this one, so I buy it, and then 2 days after, Samsung replied me on my question on the site saying that the pro one, that was the one I really wanted, wold work on my laptop.. sad experience

Absolute garbage took three times to get OS to install once it was installed programs are buggy laggy very hesitant will never buy a refurbished hardrive again plain and simple.

I bought it and when i play games or run things on it, it blue screens my pc so i can only use it for some games or some things 0/10 wont be buying storage from best buy again

Going well so far. No issue so far, i noticed of 350gb written memory but still works nicely.

So much for certified refurbished - my purchase of a 2TB SSD turned out to be a 1TB drive in a 2TB box. Very disappointing, I will not consider GS refurbished again.

Samsung 2TB PCIe SSD. It is currently working perfectly in my 2017 iMac. It needed an $10 PCIe to Mac adapter to install and I also attached a small aluminum blade $10 heatsink, (neither of which I found on Best Buy's website). I believe it is not a refurbished, evidence that it is actually a 'repackaged' product. April 2022. it sold out quickly. I'm extremely happy to find a Samsung PCIE at such a great value.
