Just recently got into gaming pcs and i had bought a pc and it already came with a internal ssd and wanted more storage and upgraded to this samsung and couldn’t believe how fast this thing is compared to my previous ssd I highly recommend it and dont sleep on refurbished cause its a deal cant pass! overall excellent ssd! Recommend it

Total read and write were around 500GB each when I got it. Probably only used to wipe the whole drive. Installed and ran without problem. Around 6X faster than SATA SSD. Registered on Samsung website shows 5 year warranty valid until August 2025.

Speeds are over 3000 mb/s, this is among the best you can get for PCI Gen 3. My used $45 drive came with under 1 TB written and works perfectly, so the value was great.

Runs very smooth, I replaced a m.2 SATA with this m.2 nvme. My Asus Vivobook 15 X512F Intel i7-8565U. Great value can't even tell it's referbished

I added second one identical and works perfect the way it should I would buy 10 more

SSD is very fast--gets over 19500 on the Disk PassMark. This was listed as a "refurbished" Just like new, but at a cheaper price.

Great drive, still one of the best. I Havnt really found a great upgrade for it yet.

Fairly good speeds, might have seen some moderate use. Samsung software is available for download, came with nothing but the bare drive. Ranks just behind my hynix p31 nvme.

Clearly no one performed a quality check on this hardware before reselling; too bad for BestBuy's reputation. NVMe arrived with 639+ hours of usage and much beyond a reasonable amount of TBW. This product should be labelled "extremely used with little shelf life left". I will not purchase from BB again.

I had always stayed away from refurbished storage components since I value my data but since this had non-moving parts, took a chance. And I am glad I did. On a B550 motherboard (supports PCI 4.0) this PCI 3.0 SSD doesn't stand out in terms of raw speed but for a $45 drive this kind of speed was unthinkable even before the chip shortage started. I am getting close to the rated read/write speed so no complaints there. The reason I docked a star (and possibly the reason why it might have been returned), is high temperature during general usage. Idle temperature around 60℃ and while writing a large file the temperature reached 75℃ (could still live with it) - during HeavyLoad benchmarking it reached 82℃, which was in the scary zone. The fix was easy - got an Icepc Copper Heatsink for $11 and now it stays around 60℃ during benchmarking. It did increase the cost to $56 though but I'd still recommend it to those who wouldn't push this drive too hard and the heatsink is not needed. Cost-wise it's pretty close to my Sabrent PCI 3.0 SSD after the heatsink purchase but it writes faster (Sabrent peaks at 2.4GB/s whereas this exceeds 3GB/s) so I'd recommend it to value conscious people looking for performance as well but if your NVME slot is behind the motherboard like mine and/or doesn't have much airflow, consider a heatsink.

Overall SSD came out solid. Purchased a refurbished SSD and was feeling a little hesitant and even more so when I got the original packaging and noticed a lot of wear and damage on the packaging at first glance. However the actual SSD inside was phenomenal. Worked like new and after some testing found that it was barely used (about ~200gb read/written on ssd) and was running perfectly. For the price and performance, couldn't have gotten a better deal on an ssd.

Product itself is excellent which should come as no surprise. Very fast as expected of Samsung SSDs. Was getting the same speeds as other people who benchmarked this drive. Drive was declared to be refurbished and was in basically like new condition when I got it. Does not come in original box but that is to be expected. When checking the total bytes written, it was about 500Gb which makes sense since the drive much have been fully wiped as part of the refurbishment process. Total hours was only an hour and total power on count was about 3 times. For the price paid, this was a very good deal! Only thing to take into account is the manufacturer warranty may not be applicable here. Overall, still a great deal!

Good NVMe storage. It’s not the fastest or latest tech but it’s a good value. My son’s gaming PC now has 2 of these in it and performance is pretty good.

Bought it refurbished with 779 GBs of data written. Not very much at all. It's read is over 3200 and write is 3600 on my X470 Gigabyte Gaming 7 with a 3700X. Makes windows really quick and games load instantly. Samsung cloning software imaged my new 500GB Evo plus drive in 30 seconds. I recommenda 500GB drive so you can put games on it as a 256 GB drive won't have enough room after windows and other apps are installed. If you are a gamer or use large files for transfers. Stays at 38C temperature in my case with 7 fans. I would recommend for 60$ refurbished but I only had to use 30$ of my own money with bestbuy rewards.

This is one of the best PCIe Gen3 drives you can buy. It is decently fast and in my experience they don't get too hot (can run without heatsink). The geek squad refurbished models have never come with less than 100% drive health and have never given me any issues. I've gotten several of these at this point and they are still great drives in 2023.

It works really great, I had no problems with anything, and the write and read speeds were pretty amazing. Everything was as advertised and honestly would recommend this product
