Made my 2018 PC so fast. Windows now is loading very fast and overall PC performance improved. Guess Samsung makes very reliable SSDs.

I was somewhat skeptical about buying a refurbished SSD because they don't tell you what the problem was that needed refurbishing. Thus refurbished SSD storage isn't always a good idea, but in this case it works just fine - I'll get back to you in a year or two and update this review. One must also remember that unlike traditional hard drives with moving parts, these solid state drives have a finite amount of writes until they become read only. The number of writes is very large but it does give it a lifetime - for this reason, you should not get one of the cheaper brands of SSD. Samsung is one of the better brands.

By the title says it's a Samsung Drive can't go wrong with those in my experience and the price on this refurbished model 1 TB for $40 plus Best Buy gave me a $5 birthday credit just made this even better deal when I got the drive I checked and only been powered on twice and had a few hours on it everything was just like brand new I'm using it in an external enclosure and it's been working great

Works great i have a 980 and 980 pro. I guess i cant tell the diffence in speed theyre both quick

I don't really remember but mine came with about 170 gb written but I think it was a bit less than that. So far everything works great and is much faster than my hdd. Installed Samsung Magician for this ssd and did tests with it and everything came out great. If you are looking at this product but are not sure I would say give it a try and if you are not satisfied with it just return it within the timeframe you are given.

Despite not having DRAM it's a fast, cheap solution for upgrading older PCs and Laptops. It rarely dips into your system ram and even though I purchased it refurbished the one I received showed zero writes in Samsung Magician.

was worth it, install was easy after opening up the laptop. M2 slot and then installing the drive. Only Caveat was that laptop goes to RAID mode when it was installed and I had to switch it back to normal setup in BIOS. Samsung Magician should be installed also to take care of firmwares for it when neede.

Fast fast fast! If you want some speeds equl to your ps5, then slap this in a gen 4 slot and go to town. This is where i put all of my games im currently playing. Load times in game are minimal!

Great inexpensive SSD. Not the most performant option, but fairly cheap and reliable. Just what I needed.
