    I think if you’re extra nerdy, or have the time and know how that this is a nice option. It’s good for the environment too… someone needs to do something with these open box units. I think if it’s mission critical you should probably buy new. It’s a little bit of a rolling of the dice. I got really lucky in my case. I’ve also purchased the Pro refurbished and was fortunate that time too.

    My other hard drive was starting to get errors and saw a slot on my Motherboard What a deal for the price not getting to best speeds on an amd 4 370 motherboard but getting a solid 1800 write and read times. You can tweak to get better but you will not get full speeds unless your motherboard supports it. Still 3 x faster than standard sata ssd
