Samsung ssd is always my favorite ssd， it has fast read & write speed.

Works perfectly - this refurb had very little use - under 100hrs.

Running below advertised speeds, still very fast. Not being bottlenecked by my pci either.

SUPER fast pci 4.0. Used in a x570 motherboard system.

I purchased this to upgrade my PS5 storage. Didn’t come with the original box but Best Buy provided a replacement that protected it well. It was basically brand new. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast these SSDs are. I was able to transfer hundreds of gigabytes of game data from my PS5 internal storage to this SSD once installed in less than 5 minutes!

Did not read/ write at specified speeds was only giving me 500 mb on write/448 mb on read even though it was inserted on gen 4 slot. Ended up returning it back to store.

I wouldn't recommend purchasing a refurbished product like a Samsung M.2 SSD, especially via online. If you do purchase it, do so either in store, or pick up an online order there, and in both cases, open it there in front of a salesman. I ordered a Refurbished Samsung 980Pro online for a good price, and it was shipped to my home where I opened it up. It was the original and correct OEM box, but inside was an entirely cheaper and smaller Samsung 250 GB EVO Plus M.2 SSD instead. Returning it was a nightmare. I tried the local BB store, but they wouldn't take it because it was ordered as a refurbished product online, and thus I had to handle it w/them, and so I did, explaining what had happened. They gave me a return UPS shipping tag, and I sent it back. Around 10 days it was returned back to me w/a return rejection, w/BB stating that the item inside wasn't the correct one. Furious, I went back to my local store, and asked to talk to the store manager there, explaining to him what had happened, and so he took it back and returned my money. Finally, I'm not stating anything wrong w/the Samsung product itself, since I never tried it. I eventually simply bought a brand new one, which works great w/no probleems.

Received a defective one and Not working at all. I Couldn’t get my Laptop to even notice it. After days of trying to figure it out with researching and removing and putting back in to troubleshoot. Still nothing. What a waste of time. I have also a 970 Evo plus that was purchased used and was a pain to get up and running but it was at least visible. I don’t think this one was double checked for issues. I would say that’s what happens getting used but it should have been certified before getting out for resale.

150 TB of written data. 93% healthy on Crystal Disk Mark... welps at least it works. I generally trust Samsung to last forever, but we'll see.

The drive always lost and very frequently. You can hardly imagine this used to be the flagship product

wish i would have just gone with my gut about not touching refurbished because it saved me some money. finally got to build my pc and the write speed on this has gone down significantly compared to what it should be, i don't even know if i should keep it or move my operating system to the newer sata drive...

the guaranteed resource of the device is 600Tb, this copy was received from a store with used 305Tb, that is, more than 50% of the resource has already been spent. It's not worth the money

I had ordered this for a family members Playstation 5 to expand their memory as a Christmas gift. The delivery was smooth and all was fine. Christmas came and they opened their gift, I had put this SSD in a heatsink and loaded it into the PS5 only to be greeted by a message telling you it's not compatible with it. Upon further investigation I found out that Best Buy had sent me the regular 980 and not the 980 PRO M.2 which was a version that for sure was not compatible with a PS5. Now I ended up having to return it as I had no other use for it and now I'm waiting for the correct one to come in the mail. This was a Geek Squad certified refurbished product and moral of this story is if you order a refurbished product make sure you receive what you paid for

I was never able to get this product to function on multiple boards, not recognized in BIOS on multiple boards, can not format or recognize in any tested OS on multiple systems.

Didn’t get to install it until 2 months later. Constant freezing, errors, system repair. This is the last time I buy refurbished. Don’t waste your money and just buy brand new.

Purchased Evo 980 1TB, but instead received the correct box, but with a Evo 970 250GB SSD drive.

So expensive when this should only be like a $60 ssd not worth it

love this m.2 just wish it work for what i got it for.
