    though refurbished, not much has been written to the ssd and works like brand new. currently using it in an external enclosure with usb3.2 cable reaching up to 2000Mbps read/write consistent with with expectation.

    I realize there's always a risk of getting "refurbished" components, but a little experience and education of M'2 SSD's equates to my opinion that there just isn't much you can do to damage or fix one. It either works or it doesn't. So getting the best brand, and their fastest SSD, coupled with their Magician and Data Migration (cloning) programs at such a discount, is a no-brainer.

    The 2 I received had about 1tb and 75gb written already on it. The boxes were in rough shape, but they still passed with flying colors with 4.0 speeds

    Needed more space on my PC and it's worked great for me so far. There's a couple hoops I had to jump through to get it to work after plugging it in, but there's a lot of short tutorials to help with that.

    Geek Squad definitely knows what they are doing. It was as "brand new", only some gigabytes of daya was written.

    Fast. Make sure motherboard supports the faster speed. Z590 and above otherwise get the regular 980
