    This was the worst experience ive ever had with customer service. First of all, the dang thing didnt even work, seems like they forgot to format it before selling it. I spent 2.5 hours calling and being improperly transferred, being told incorrect information, and not being helped was so aggravating. Why is Best Buy customer service telling me i cant be connected to Geek Squad? I had to be transferred 8 times until someone finally gave me some useful information. I will say, thank you to the Geek Squad department who gave me the info I needed to make a different decision. DONT BUY THESE REFURBISHED!

    This is a quick hard drive but beware these drives made during a certain time are prone to failure. They need to be updated via directly to a motherboard and not via a usb to NVME. I learned of this unfortunately after my return date. So i woul purchase another SSD for your ps5 needs.

    Bought this in September’23 to pair with a limited edition PS5 as a Christmas gift. Hooked it up, didn’t read at first. Reinstalled it, it read and formatted, then stopped working. Won’t let the PS5 turn on with it installed. Says “can’t read the ssd. Turn off, unplug and plug in to start”. Still won’t work. Best Buy won’t refund or exchange due to the time of purchase, not acknowledging that it was bought to be used after Christmas. Can’t even get a manufacturer warranty because Best Buy refurbished it. Wouldn’t recommend buying anything refurbished from best buy, if they can’t stand behind it. Feel like I was bare faced robbed!
