I just upgraded to a Lenovo Slim 5 14, but I knew the included 1TB drive wasn't going to last me very long: I edit photos during the day and do some light gaming from time-to-time, so I started looking for a second drive to fill out the additional M.2 slot right away. This drive is well-recommended, and the price on the refurbished version was pretty decent, so I went with it. Really happy so far: file transfer speeds are VERY fast. I'm a bit concerned about thermals - there's no way I can fit a heatsink into my small chassis, and the drive hit 62C the last time I fired up a game for a couple hours - so I may have to limit heavy use to the times when I can put the laptop on a cooling pad or elevated stand. Temps hover in the low 40s during regular use.

It works very fast on my gamimg laptop. No issues, no installation problems, simple and easy to insert on yoir laptop.

If you're worried about this product being refurbished, don't be, I checked it with CrystalDiskInfo before I put anything on it and it had only a couple hours of use, so far, it's been great!

This was a refurbished item, I was always skittish about refurbished items but this one seems to work like a brand new one.. have had no problems or issues with this memory stick..

When i got the drive i installed it into my pc and checked the health and write with Samsung magician, It only had 500gb written which was really good and had 100% health which is awesome i don't think I've seen the temperature go over 63C and I've been gaming a lot on it since I've got it. Every game I've played i loaded in fast and it works perfectly glad i went refurbished

Nice price on a 990 Pro M.2 SSD that looked new when it arrived. Tested with Samsung Magician which reported a perfect drive.

I’ve tried all sorts of SSD brands to compare and/or save money, but when it comes to reliability for uour boot drive, Samsung is still my best choice. They seem to last a very long time and speeds are vastly optimized thanks to their drivers and magician sorware that helps you keep an eye on new firmware and settings.

This SSD is a refurbished one from Geeksquad, but it runs faster than any new used one on the market. The price for it was essentially a steal and best of all, it took only a few days to deliver, its performance is amazing, it used to take 10+ minutes for my old hard drive to load every detail of a game, but now with this it only takes 30-60 seconds before I’m fully loaded. Now i can use that free time to think about learning a useful skill or hobby. (key point there is “think about” lets not get crazy here) but overall im so happy with my purchase, couldn’t have made a better choice with who to purchase from, thank you Best Buy.

I received the item in a damaged box that had multiple stickers on it. When I first checked the drive with the Samsung Magician app, it did not recognize the SSD. I’ve heard reports of counterfeit or mislabeled SSDs being sold as refurbished or open-box items from various retailers, so I proceeded with caution. After reformatting the drive using Windows Disk Management, the Samsung Magician app was finally able to detect it. I also verified the drive using CrystalDiskInfo, which showed only 7 hours of total use. Based on that, I believe it was ultimately a good purchase—especially at half the regular price. Nonetheless, I recommend inspecting and testing carefully upon receipt.

Downloaded the Samsung Magician Software and did the Data Migration from the c: drive to the M.2 NVMe to USB-C enclosure with the Samsung 990PRO 2TB. All went well in 20 minutes. I removed the original Samsung 1TB stick and installed the new one. My desktop started without any issues.
