I have purchased refurbished stuff before, and have not had the best experience. After reading the reviews, and the price, I took a chance. Awesome. Works great, looks almost new. I was Greatly Surprised.

Seems fine so far. A bit loud when disc is spinning/playing. Package did not come with manual or HDMI cable, but price was right.

Best deal found. The cost was near nothing to buy. Even at the low price,you still get quality Blue Ray Player. No need to buy one that cost more. This works great!! Thank You

This my 2nd blu ray from Samsung. I got a refurbished one for a great price. Works well and easy to set up.

First let me say this BluRay player works fine and was in great shape. It was in a Samsung box that had been repackaged, inside a Geek Squad shipping box. Remote, with no batteries, and an owners manual. The issue I have is the the main description. It clearly states "Samsung - Refurbished BD-J5100 - 3D Blu-Ray Player - Black" This player is NOT 3D. I repeat, this is NOT a 3D player.

A blu-Ray player that is wired only ... that is the only downfall, but for what I paid and where it sits (close to the router) it is fine and works well for my purpose!

I bought the Samsung Blu-Ray Wireless player to upgrade a "Dumb' TV to "smart' status by adding streaming apps without replacing the TV itself. Mission accomplished.

I was apprehensive about buying a refurbished item but it's like brand new. Definitely I'm going to buy another and other items that I may want in the future.

I bought this Samsung Blu-ray player 2 years ago and it still works fine and I even bought refurbished, that's how good it is.

I have 4 bluray players and 2 of this model. It’s simple, no wireless internet but do fast response in commands and do what is made for play Bluray.

I needed a new blu-ray/dvd player and didn't want to spend a ton of $$. The refurb works well and have had no issues. Would definitely recommend.

The player loads up quickly, and does what it's supposed to do. It does not have any exterior lighting indicating any information on it, and it is a little bit flimsy feeling, but it's for a vacation house and will be used only a couple times a year if that. If you are buying this for your kids, or if you think it will see heavy use, spend a little more get one that's a little bit more substantial feeling.

If you're in need of a cheap blu-ray player, this is the one for you.

Although the BluRay player works flawlessly and was in great shape, it is NOT a 3D player.

It works very well for watching blu-rays, some people may just want it to have wifi as well as ethernet capabilities.

For a $40 Blu Ray player, I certainly do not have any complaints.

Player has worked perfectly since I acquired it and there have been no problems at all. Works as advertised.
