Average, Inexpensive blu-ray

New TV does not have AV input so needed to replace their existing DVD and might as well upgrade to blu-ray. They don't need anything special so this fits fine. It works and that's about all they need. It doesn't have lights indicating off/on etc. so that is a bit annoying but can handle it the 2-3 times a year it's used

Poor quality

The first 4 days it worked great and then it started giving us problems. The screen would be black and stay black, the home screen with options wouldn’t come up. It would occasionally not play dvds. The tray would not open. To many problems! I took it to the bestbuy store a mile away. I had purchased the insurance. So geek squad basically said they can’t fix all those problems so I got all of my money back and I purchased a new Sony player for a little more then this refurbished brick. Fantastic in store service though.

Refurb well worth your money

I seldom use it for anything other than watching YouTube football videos, and it has done the job perfectly for me. I own numerous Samsung products and this is another winner!

Great Little Unit

Loved the small footprint so much I use it for my main television now. 2.5 years and still going strong.

My Samsung blue ray player
