The remote control was not included on the box and there are no controls on the player. I had the hardest time in trying to return it to the store.

Worked great... For 3 weeks

It played fine, apps worked fine. I was very happy with my Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Blu-ray player. Then it froze, never to power up or work again, THREE days after the 15-day return period passed. Garbage.

Blu-ray player that will not play Blu-rays

Plays DVDs fine but wont recognize a blu-ray disc. Do not trust a "Geek Squad Certified Refurbished" item. Obviously not tested very well.

Shuts off

Thought disc was probably bad from Redbox. Just used it again and it continues to shut off after 20 minutes or so. Do yourself a favor and pass on this as it may say refurbished but obviously they aren't.

No batteries for the remote and no owners manual was included in the box as advertised. I should try and see how much trouble it is to return it.

It shuts off after 5 minutes of use. Not sure if its this particular one since it is refurbished. Need to purchase an HDMI cable separately.

Terrible player
