Upgraded from the gearfit 2 and enjoy the longer battery life, display is excellent outdoors only issue is having to tighten it up for a heart rate. Didn't have that problem with the gearfit. Overall really liking it!

The Samsung Gear S3 watches are innovative by design and attractive appearance led me to buy one even though I am an Apple user. The S3 Frontier watch version is very large similar in size to those oversized chronograph/dive men's watches that are more a fashion statement. The S3 has some fantastic features and the display looks great, but many users find the rotating bezel to eventually stop working which renders most features broken. If you have Android Samsung phones and can buy this watch with an extended warranty then give it a try.

I recently purchased the most recent smart watch because it was on sale. And I'm more than satisfied of the quality of the product. I love the bigger display and the feature it has to make phone calls on my watch. Battery life is definitely longer than the previous models, since I've owned both the gear 1 and 2 in which they both lasted me for a day and I would have to plug them everytime before I go to bed. This is the real deal.

I loved the GG2 but the Frontier is so awesome. I love the rugged design and the size. The larger screen allows for quick and easy viewing of alerts in the form of text messages etc. I wish I could reply to WhatsApp messages from the watch itself but not a dealbbreaker. The health features are great, the step counter does a good job so my Fitbit is now gathering dust. All in all a good buy and I'd recommend it.

I purchased the Gear S3 Frontier as a refurbished unit on Bestbuy.com. The unit arrived in plain packaging with all the required accessories. I'm still learning all that it does but I can honestly say this is pretty effing cool watch. Leaps and bounds better than my old Gear 2. The display is huge and gorgeous. I get compliments all the time. Get it, you'll love it.

Received my Samsung refurbished watch. The watch works well there hasn't been an issue there at this time. The original band did show very extensive wear however a new shorter band was provided. The watch it self did showed moderate wear and scuff marks. The screen though had no scratches. I was able to clean it up a little bit to improve the looks. If you are looking for something used this is a good way to go.

This watch is made very well and feels great on my wrist. The display is sharp and the rotating bezel and side buttons make navigating the menu a breeze. I wore the watch everyday for 3 weeks, but ended up getting the LG sport watch for mostly one reason, s voice. Samsung Gear uses S voice, and when I would reply to text it never got my message correct. I use Google Voice and Siri all the time and hardly even have an issue, since I use a Galaxy S8 as my phone I had to get an Android Wear watch so I could use Google Voice to reply to my text with voice recognition that actually worked. I think the Samsung Gear is an excellent watch, it just did not do what I needed it to. Samsung Gear uses tizen on this watch instead of Android, so it also has limited apps.

zero stars for bestbuy The watch functions great. Just as good as my Apple Watch was, I recently defected from Apple and I've to say everything from the always on display to the MST that is on the S3 but not on the galaxy is years ahead of apple. Battery life is better than my series 2 apple watch and the watch takes my HR every 10mins... this is great tech. Tons of quantifiable workout data right on the main screen if you need it. I bought this watch refurbished. The unit I received has a scratched and bent bezel...it works but I really dont believe this is a refurbished unit... definitely used but not refurbished. The watch was all dusty and dirty like it was never cleaned off... I've purchased refurbished items previously but I must say after this purchase I will definitely give refurbs a second thought - especially with bestbuy. I'm keeping it because I just dont want to go through the hassle of returning the watch ... the watch functions great, the most bezel is just a lil messed up, scratched and dented.

This watch blows away Apple's watch. The screen is completely customizable, the quality of the screen looks a lot better and brighter. It even works pretty well with the iPhone. And the construction of the watch is rock solid. So why the 2 star review? The battery in mine lasted 2 years. It's not user replaceable and Samsung wants $75 to replace it. So for $300 I got 2 years use out of it. Not a good watch value in my opinion.

Ordered this watch on the 24th, received it a week later. I absolutely loved the watch and it looked brand new. Read all the raving reviews about refurbished on here so I decided to save money and buy one. Needless to say 2 weeks later the screen is completely black. I feel the haptic feedback and was able to blindly dial my wife swiping through screens. Brought it into geeksquad and was hoping to swap it out for another one but the same watch is 60 dollars more than when I purchased it. So I have 2 options use my protection plan after only 2 weeks and lose the 60 bucks since id have to buy another protection plan, or return it and and buy another refurbished one which is 60 bucks more. Either way after all this ive spent the same amount of money as if I were to just buy it brand new. Bottom line, dont buy it refurbished, save yourself the hassle and just get it new. I remember the old plans they would actually repair your product or trade it for the same item and you'd still keep your protection until the 2 years ran out. But nowadays once you use it you have to buy a new plan which will add up since mine broke before even having it for a month.

Pros: Bezel is the most intuitive way to interact with a smart watch. Alternatively, nice addition of buttons and a touch screen is a plus. Screen is crisp and clear, easy to read. Always on display makes the watch so much more functional as a real watch. Design and form is best in class. Ability to pay from watch means you can pretty much leave your wallet at home. Cons: App Store is severely crippled. Running GPS, music and a workout will deplete battery rapidly. Health app could use some work. Wish always on display would stay on when recording a workout. Bluetooth connectivity inconsistent at times. At first I wasn't too thrilled with this watch not because of the hardware but because of the software. The App Store is weak and your pretty much limited to what Samsung has to offer. After a couple of weeks of use, I realized you only really need the essentials and if your willing to live with that this a recommended buy. Got this refurbished from Best Buy and the watch was in good condition except for some manly cologne fragrance that remained on the wristband from a previous owner I presume.

I really like it. The leather bands were a bit stiff and they hurt my wrists so I got some silicone based ones that handles water better and are more flexible. There are times it seems a bit laggy but that could be due to the fact I don't often restart it. I was able to personalize the screen with personal pictures, the speaker is very loud when using watch to make calls or play music. Battery life is good as well, plus there is a battery saving mode which will make 1 charge last for a few days. Watch needs to be snug on wrist in order to get best automatic show with wrist flick. Overall, I really like it. I got it refurbished and it seems to be ok for the most part. My complaints are minor and not really worth mentioning. E.g. be mindful when sending a quick text from watch because finger may touch the wrong message to send. Also, I see where I sent a response to an email that I never personally did, maybe my hands brushed against the screen and a preprogrammed message got sent in a reply. It is awesome at tracking fitness and giving encouragement. There are even a few games out there for it, so it's a pretty cool watch. The screen is big, I call it perfect. Wish I could make video calls on it though.

So like most said on here, you only get the watch with the large and small straps, the charger and cable. No box. Not a big deal as you can typically save $80-170 when buying refurbished. I bought it when it was $185. I was a little hesitant due to the reviews. I went ahead and bought it. It was in perfect condition (almost), there was a bit of dried sweat on the inside of the band but everything else was excellent. BUT... the battery was terrible, it was laggy, and the bezzel felt very loose. I talked to BestBuy and they sent me a replacement (refurbished still) and it was perfect, had a very small unnoticeable scratch on the bezel but the battery life and performance where much better. I would definitely recommend getting the refurbished on sale in order to sale a ton of money. I would not have bought it if it wasn't on sale. I am still in between this and my Fossil Q (Android Wear). There are pro and cons to each, but I use this one for sleeping and every day use. The Fossil is more for when I am dressing up a bit or going out. The battery and the bezel are really what separate this thing from Android Wear. Although AW (Android Wear) has a few more useful and customizable apps/launchers. S voice is quite terrible, Google obviously wins this one. Other than that I am quite happy with this watch, just wish that I could use it for swimming like I do with my Garmin Fenix. I would definitely get some nice watchbands on Amazon for this, as well as a screen protector just in case. The bezel is replaceable btw, so after a while you can simply put in a new one.
