This is my first sound bar with wireless subwoofer. This unit has amazing sound and the quality it great. Easy to setup and use.

This is my second Samsung soundbar. I purchased this one to go with my brand new Samsung TV. It was simple to set up and it has great sound.

For the money, this soundbar blows me away! Everything works tremendously good! Easy to set up and use. Again the sound is extremely good. Has made me watch music videos again while I work because it sounds so good. Plus the sale price was a huge bonus!

I bought my Samsung - HW-A550 2.1ch Sound bar with Dolby 5.1 in May, it was an (open box) item. Someone returned it after using it for a few years apparently, It was beat up bad. I still can’t believe they sold it in that condition, after hooking it up to my tv and trying it, to my surprise, it sounded great. For the price I kept it!

awesome soundbar that I purchased! I was not regretted for buying this. It's worth to buy it. No kidding! You would love it after you purchase it unless it's still available at Best Buy. I was glad that I purchased it at the lowest price.. at least 68% off.. two thumbs up!

This is by far the best purchase I’ve made and the cyber Monday deal saved me $100. DTS virtual X and surround sound quality really feels like 360 degrees. The subwoofer is awesome and that’s just for tv use. The music quality is crisp and clean and it really is an all around excellent sound system without dropping $1k or more!! It also has a gaming features that makes you feel like you’re in the game.

Compliments my 75 inch Samsung TV wonderfully. I had to contact their tech support unit because the instructions were horrible, therefore one star off. But their tech support was courteous, professional, and patient. Had it up an running in no timel. The unit provides the additional sound needed for a large tv, without the hassel of setting up a multiple speaker system. The bass is more than sufficient and the bar allows you to hear dialogue that you don't otherwise catch.

This soundbar is amazing, the sound it displays is great weather its on bluetooth, HDMI, or the best option optical audio. It turns my living room into a home theater with just the bar and sub. I could imagine how much better it would be with the surround sound add on. The only negative thing is that I wish you can use the normal TV remote to change the volume when using optical audio, but its no big deal using the soundbar remote.

Impressed with the sound and bass of this soundbar. The Subwoofer is perfect for music with bass!

I was quite impressed with my purchase. Now, let me start by saying this isn't the best sound system ever... However unless you want to spend more than 500 dollars, you're not getting a state of the art sound system. With that said, let me tell you about what I like and dislike about this sound bar. First thing, this makes the audio louder, more clear and adds some "boom" to the base. So if you are looking to upgrade your tv speakers that came stock and want to spend less than 300; these on sale are a really good deal. You will immediately notice a big difference. The HDMI arc is worth it to get the upgrade from the 450 series as well, this allows you to hook up the speakers to the tv with and HDMI cord. When doing this you don't need to use a separate remote to turn on the speakers so you can hook up a gaming system or your cable box directly to the sound bar and the sound bar hooks up to the tv. apparently it has better sound quality than just a optic cable but I couldn't tell the difference it was just easier for me to use my tv and change from a PlayStation to Netflix and not need multiple remotes. other reviews stated that the cheaper models also felt cheaper like they were real light and you could break it in your hands so I went with this model that has a metal speaker grill instead of the cloth and I must admit the build is pretty nice quality. My big issue with the sound bar is 2 things. First, sometimes it has problems recognizing something right away. For example when I'm switch from hdmi to tv arc it might not recognize the sound bar and the tv speakers play and i have to fix it (easy fix just wait for it to fix itself or go to setting>sound>select hdmi arc). I imagine this isn't an issue solely samsungs fault other sound bars prolly have the same issue when hooking up a lot of other devices. And for the most part it's pretty rare unless you unplug everything and plug it back in, so just watch out for that. It CAN BE tricky but for the most part user friendly. The other problem is like is it the best... no, but I don't have money to upgrade either for doby atmos so in the back of my mind yeah it's nice but if I listened to something nicer I could tell. The surround sound is pretty good but it's not the best, you know what I mean. so in this review I want to let people know while this will majorly upgrade stock speakers depending on who the customer is different people have different views. If you are on a budget and want a nice upgrade this is for you, if you want the best of the best move up to the next level of speakers. So let's not pretend that if you want something REALLY nice you can buy this and save money but for a budget these are some of the best speakers you can buy in my opinion. I imagine the size and shape of your room also effects how the speakers sound but we aren't sound engineers so if you want to get that deep be sure to research yourself look at everything and decide what's right for you that fits into the amount of money you want to spend. That's why you're reading this review and I hope it helped shine some light on how someone who has bought this thinks about their purchase.
