Definitely a worthy addition to a home setup. Only thing I would change is the HDMI in location/positioning. It's recessed under the bar, which is good, but its a tight fit. Longer HDMI cable ends will not fit or will be super snug to the point I worry the pressure on it will cause the connections to separate from the HDMI plug.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Bought the HW-A650 and the Vizio M51a H6 sound bars to demo in my open vaulted living room for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. The Vizio is highly touted as punching way above its class, but after my testing it will be going back and the Samsung will stay. To my ear the Samsung offers a noticeably more mature, refined sound - it does not attempt to impress with boom and sizzle. It's a very neutral and non fatiguing sound that emphasizes clarity in dialogue. Surprisingly the Samsung projects sound quite well beyond its boundaries despite only being a 3.1 channel sound bar - much better than the Vizio as a 3.1 (without satellites connected) The funny thing is, I was certain I'd be returning the Samsung and keeping the Vizio because of how poor the Samsung sounded on display at Best Buy and how great the Vizio sounded in another showroom. Goes to show there are many variables that will determine if a loudspeaker or sound bar will perform well in a given space - your room shape/size/acoustics being a major variable. My recommendation - Demo in your space if you can, it's the only way to know for sure.

My complaint is that you can't control the volume of the center channel. I've tried all the different sound modes and watching movies is awful for me. Music, explosions, etc are blaring loud, while the dialog I can barely hear. I never would've bought this sound bar if I'd have known this.

I was super stoked cause it it hooked up quickly and sounded amazing. But after a few minutes it would reset to factory settings. I would reset to my liking.... then a few minutes late, it reset again... and again... and again... you get the idea. BUT, If it was a new item, I'm sure it would be perfect. I ended up returning
