My understanding of the soundbar and woofer is limited. I will be doing more research to enhance my experience. I do know it serves my purpose which was to make the dialogue clearer. I'm sure any issues I'm experiencing thus far is due to human error.

The subwoofer is surprisingly really good and provides very tight low frequencies so there's no rattle or unpleasant sounds coming through.

First time I ordered Ups did not deliver. Second time I placed the order it was missing the remote. Finally went in person and bought it and checked the box for all items

The delivery is what surprised me the most…ordered online at 7:00 pm on a Sunday and the product, because it was in stock at store, arrived same day 2 hours later!!! Wow.

Good options for connecting to various media and can be used to play music, although much better at ‘TV / Film sound’ than playing music, but then that’s it’s main puspose.

Previous Polk soundbar had excellent sound but dialogue muddled and often lost in mysic and background noise. This sound bar distingushes dialog well and still provides decent music, action and background sound. Like the low profile too.

Still trying to find the proper setting on the TV to get some men's voices to sound a little better (more clear). Sometimes the words just don't sound right. Currently using Samsung Tv Standdard Audio setting. Overall, very good.

It’s on the pricey side for a 3.1 so make sure you catch it on sale. Also the description is inaccurate because this one DOES NOT play Dolby Atmos but it DOES play DTS Virtual.

We added it to our new Samsung TV and it is a great combo. Installation was easy (even though the guide was not the most explanatory). It turns on automatically when the TV is on, which is great.

The base sounds are more pronounced and fill the room with more depth and variety of sound. A remarkable difference for the price.

We do not need to turn the volume up so one of us can hear it which is then too loud four the other. I will be looking into getting a smaller version for our 43” HDTV too.

I paired this with my new Samsung TV. I have had this for about a month. For a little more money I should have went with a BOSE setup.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-A650 Soundbar and for sharing your review. We value your feedback regarding the overall performance of the included 6.5" wireless subwoofer.
By design, the purpose of the subwoofer is to reproduces low frequency sounds and not musical tones. It adds rich tones and deepens sound effects, like the rumbles of an explosion or the depth in bass guitars and drums.
There are three adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
3) Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select BASS BOOST mode. This will provide you with a larger emphasis on bass sound.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

The customer service and Best Buy, Miguel, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The remote control for the Samsung television will also control the Samsung sound bar. The quality of the audio is superb.

It was really easy to set up and provides rich sound. It's also loud enough to be heard easily over my treadmill when I work out. Unfortunately, I'm having issues controlling it with my Samsung tv remote :(

Plenty of equalizer settings and a bads setting. I added the rear speakers which automatically connected when i powered on! Worth every dollar.

If you want something you can adjust bass and treble, this is what you should buy. Has awesome clarity and the woofer gives you a bottom you will love. Almost like being at the movies.

A lot of Adjustment for a sound bar, highly recommend.

These are very easy to mount on the wall and connect to the TV. Sound quality is 10 times better than the internal speakers in the TV. These are very good and priced right.
