This one was not up for debate. Samsung can always get my money. I love the clarity and the range, even with the volume on 10, it is still crystal clear.

I use it indoor and out. Wheather a movie night or BBQ, the setup if never a problem. The bluetooth capability is perfect any action. The simple wire connection makes a fast setup to enjoy time with family and friends.

Simple and Worth it

I use it for standard television use and some gaming also. Simple set up and I’ve had no problems in the few weeks I’ve had it so far.

Great Sound volume adjustment causes Mute

When I connected everything up, I was unable to use the volume controls on the remote. Every time I would try to adjust the volume, the TV would Mute. I told the technician about this and they recommended that I purchase the next model up. I chose not to because at the time it would have been an additional $85.00. I still would recommend this as long as you don't mind manually adjusting the volume on the bar.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with the HW-B450 Soundbar. Your feedback regarding the remote will be shared with our product teams.
The provide soundbar remote will mute your soundbar when you PRESS the button IN. To be able to use the soundbar remote to change the volume, push the rocking button forward or pull backward to lower the volume.
If your soundbar is connected to your TV with an optical cable, you can control the volume and mute the soundbar using your Samsung TV's remote.
1) Use the TV remote to navigate to Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output on your Samsung TV.
2) Select your Samsung soundbar, and then select Close. Now you can use your TV remote to adjust volume and mute the soundbar. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.
Other manufacturer’s remotes may have to be enabled on your soundbar. First, turn Off the Soundbar. Once powered off, push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “OFF-TV REMOTE” (Default mode), “SAMSUNG-TV REMOTE”, “ALL-TV REMOTE”. Please also make sure your speaker settings on the TV are set to External Speaker.

He really has bad hearing and i didnt want to keep turning the t.v. volume all the way up all the time. It makes it sound all distorted an off cause the quality go down the louder you make it. However when we plugged the sound bar up and turned on we were both shocked with just how clear and crisp the sound is! It lets you adjust all the individual sounds on the bar itself an has movie, game, theater and a few other options to put on for the specific sound you're looking for. It definitely works way above what i expected! Also has a reasonable price.. No complaints here!

But a slihht downside to the amazing product which is the bass feature with a low output for when i listen to my music.
