Good sound such a small device

The sound quality was good but it wouldn't work when we streamed apps like Netflix and Paramount +. I searched everything I could think of but just couldn't make it work. It sounded great while just watching regular TV. The remote was kind of useless as you could never tell if it was working.

A week prior I purchased a 75" Samsung, but the speakers were horrible. When I connected the soundbar my television experience changed! The sound from this soundbar is amazing!

I ended up getting my own person to do this . From $129 that I paid online the customer service try to charge me $249 with the excuse it was weird I had that price. They rather cancel my service than service me since it wasn’t my fault.

Decent inexpensive soundbar

A significant improvement over any tv speakers and the few times I used it to play music it sounded great. This was an impulse purchase and I ultimately decided to return it and go with something a bit higher end.

Very easy setup with the Bluetooth. My grandad has hearing issues and even with hearing aids he would have to turn the regular tv speakers all the way up. Now every time i visit him, he always raves about the sound quality and how clearly the sound comes out.

Not happy with how it interacts with a Samsung TV

I had two phone calls with Samsung to see if there was a way to prevent the TV from turning on the Soundbar. Their explanation focused on why this is happening and then adjust my listening practices. When my head was done spinning, I hit on a different option. I just unplug the Soundbar when I don't want to use it.

Thank you for taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-C400 Soundbar.
Try disabling Auto Power Link on your device.
If your soundbar and Samsung TV are connected by an optical cable, Auto Power Link will turn your soundbar on automatically when you turn on the TV.
To use Auto Power Link, follow the steps below:
1) Connect your soundbar to your TV with an optical cable.
2) Set the soundbar to D.IN mode by pressing Source on the remote or soundbar.
3) Press and hold the left direction on the direction pad on the remote for more than 5 seconds or until Auto Power Link appears on the soundbar display to activate or deactivate Auto Power Link.

The Bluetooth often has trouble auto connecting to my samsung TV so I need to reconfigure audio when I start my TV pretty often.

First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.
