The Samsung HW-C400 soundbar exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is crisp with deep bass from the built-in woofer, perfect for movies and music. Setup was incredibly easy, and Bluetooth connectivity works flawlessly. It’s a sleek design that fits perfectly under my TV and enhances the overall audio experience. Great value for a compact soundbar that delivers powerful, immersive sound.

Its a 4 for this price point. I have a like one of the standard Samsung CU Crystal tvs 65 inch and the built in speaker is bogus. This thing is easy to set up and i get decent sound that is more in line with the TV quality. Its got a built in sub, thats good enough for movies, tv and casual tune listening. The sub is making my games with big bass, hit harder too. The surround sound setting seems to really spread out, i like it for TV and movies. The problem with the settings is i cant figure out how to really adjust, like the sub can go up or down, but where is it currently at? It says its got modes, but i got no idea how to switch, other than surround on or off. Maybe I need to figure something out here, but for how intuitive connecting to the TV was, setting adjustment seems a mystery. No interface on the device. Ultimately, a good deal for a single pieced sound system that works.

While the sound bar sound quality is very good, the remote is not as user-friendly as I'd like it to be. I tried syncing the soundbar to my streaming box remote, which is synced with my tv, but the volume adjustment was not that good, so I changed it back to adjusting the soundbar independent of the streaming box remote.

This is a nice inexpensive sound bar. What it is not is a surround sound type of device it just enhances the sound of the TV just enough. It was easy to set up and works well although the remote seems a bit wonky because it seems to lag when trying to adjust the volume up or down even with good batteries.

The blutooth connects quickly and the sound quality is crystal clear!

This Samsung soundbar is the perfect fit for my 55 inch Samsung TV. Our TV viewing experience is much better, sound is clearer, the bass is acceptable, although you can add a separate subwoofer, and the value is about where you would expect it. Some of the controls for sound shaping can be a bit confusing at first but I figured it out rather quickly. Our room to watch TV is not overly larger but without this soundbar it was becoming hard to hear dialogue in movies. Worth it to pick one up

Well. I’d say it works and I’m ok with it. The big issue which I thought would not bother me is that theres no display. There’s no sound levels you can see. The remote has a cheap feel. So when adjusting the volume with the remote you have no sense of how loud it is. What level ect. Sometimes I have to hold it for a long time. Hold or click it up before I feel like the volume does adjust. I have an old Samsung plasma tv. Unfortunately it’s not comparable with some other sound bars like Sonos. I have one of those in the other room. It’s very nice. But this tv does not get thru the set up, an issue with external speaker settings that cannot be adjusted. Hard to explain. Anyway. I needed a plug and play soundbar. This does the job. It’s ok sound quality. Not the best. I’m ok with it. While I won’t replace it anytime soon I’d say I don’t recommend unless you are ok with the lack of display and the small annoyance with volume adjusting. Which is a regular thing. If I could go back I’d look for something around or close to this with a dialog for volume settings.

I wanted to add something with more full stereo sound instead of the built in speakers in my 40" Samsung TV. And wow the sound that comes out made the TV better by 2 to 3 times better (plus having the tv and sound bar on, makes this a perfect combination). This sound bar added a more fuller vocals and midrange to make my TV experience really good. What is missing is a big booming subwoofer but if your just needing a better louder/fuller TV sound than just the built in tv speakers, adding this sound bar will work well for the price they have it for. Plus I only had this for 2 days so far so I am hoping this will last if I don't over play it to loud to ruin it.

I can't believe this item doesn't cost more!! The sound quality is PERFECT and is already balanced in a way that most sound bars don't come custom from the factory. I WOULD GIVE IT 10 **********!

Not the best, nor is it the worst, when it comes to budget sound bars. Remote handles well, though you really have to pay attention to what the bar says when messing with it, as there is no other visual feedback on what you're doing (outside of white dots indicating volume level). I've only used this via optical, so can't speak to wireless connectivity. Definitely a step above using built-in TV speakers, and the bass level is decent considering this is a 2.0 bar. But keep expectations low given the price point. Has good volume though

I like the Samsung HW-C400/ZA but I don't love it. I needed to replace a Samsung soundbar in my living room of an open first floor. This was a very good price. Also, this soundbar has a sleek minimalist design so it doesn't block the TV. I can still see the scores that are shown at the bottom of the TV screen! The aspects I don't love: it enhances the TV sound but doesn't replace it. I can't turn the TV sound off and just use the soundbar (I could on my previous Samsung soundbar); also the indicator lights on the soundbar are not helpful to know status. Lastly, I tried to connect my previous Samsung wireless subwoofer and had no luck. That might be a compatibility issue since the subwoofer is several generations older.

This sound bar is perfect for me and pretty easy to figure out the set up. I am a little hard of hearing and this helps me when I'm watching TV in bed.

I had some difficulty pairing up the soundbar with the television. After overcoming that, I was impressed with the soundbar's power and clarity. I have a separate subwoofer, but I don't need to add it on.
