Oh I was very mistaken. Constantly dealing with audio delay with Dolby Atmos audio content and random cracking noise during movies. I downloaded two firmware updates to try to fix the issue with no luck. Giving up and trying a different brand sound bar

Randomly produces static noises

First, it was great, but I haven't had it for a month yet and it will randomly start making static-noises. What's the point of a sound bar if that happens? Maybe it's just defective? I would return it, but I already threw the box away.

Our 2021 HW-Q600A 3.1.2ch Acoustic Beam Soundbar was designed to deliver immersive 3D sound. Speakers firing from the front, side, and top brings the surround sound to life. Adaptive Sound automatically analyzes the sound signal to optimize sound based on each scene including voices at the lowest volumes.
You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or ADAPTIVE SOUND.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
Please know, some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV or soundbar. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV or soundbar and then try cable connection again.

Please know, you can try manually optimizing your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear) to access the setting items such as TREBLE, BASS, SYNC, CENTER LEVEL, TOP LEVEL, and VIRTUAL ON/OFF. The selected item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.
– To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, select TREBLE or BASS in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
– Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.)
– To control the volume of each speaker, select CENTER LEVEL or TOP LEVEL in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
– The VIRTUAL Speaker function can be turned ON/OFF by using the Up/Down buttons.
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the level between -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in. I hope this helps you improve your enjoyment with the audio experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience with dialogue becoming drowned out in action scenes and too low to hear in other scenes.
To improve your experience, press the Sound Mode button on your remote control and select Adaptive Sound. In Adaptive Sound mode, the soundbar analyzes the content and volume to optimize the audio rendering resulting in clearer dialogue.
Using Dynamic Range Control (DRC). DRC lets you apply dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. With DRC turned on, loud sounds will be reduced.
1) Turn off your Soundbar.
2) While the Soundbar is off, press and hold the Sound Mode button on the remote control for 6 seconds until you see “DRC ON” shown on the display.
3) To turn off DRC, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

Brings great sound to a great TV

This is the lower end model but it adds so much to the overall viewing experience. It integrates easily with the TV and setup was a breeze. Despite is small size the sub is surprisingly effective. The main speaker enclosure sits unobtrusively below the screen and projects the sound well. Highly recommend.

There are a few things you may want to check:
1) If there is a device that uses the same wireless frequency (5.8 GHz) near the Soundbar, interference may cause some sound interruption.
2) Check all the sources on the soundbar. If the audio is dropping while watching TV it could be an issue with the broadcast.
3) Also, please be sure you have the latest firmware update which includes improved Bluetooth connectivity. You can update your firmware by using a USB device. You can find the update on the product page of your HW-A450 on the Samsung website.
Here are a few things you can check to resolve the HDMI ARC issue:
1) Make sure the TV has the latest software version
2) Try setting the digital audio output setting on the TV to PCM
3) Try a different HDMI cable. The cable should be a high-speed HDMI cable capable of 4K/30Hz

Our HW-Q600A 3.1.2ch Acoustic Beam Soundbar was designed to deliver immersive 3D sound. Speakers firing from the front, side, and top brings the surround sound to life. Adaptive Sound automatically analyzes the sound signal to optimize sound based on each scene including voices at the lowest volumes.
You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or ADAPTIVE SOUND.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
