Sound will not stay on, cuts in and out. Have to turn it on and then off over and over multiple times a day to get the sound back. Looked online and ensured I had connections correct, using ARC compliant HDMI cables from 4K box to Soundbar to TV. I did some digging online and numerous forums said to update the firmware, which I did, properly. Did not fix the problem at all. After trying to pour through settings and giving it a chance, I was already past the return date to get a refund. Volume control on remote (when working) is also awkward and horrible to use. In no way would I recommend this product to anyone; which is sad considering I've got two Samsung TV's, another Samsung soundboard (older, HW-F450, which has worked perfectly for years now), and Samung W/D. Extremely disappointed in Samsung, especially considering the price.

First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

I’ve had problems getting it to sink with my outdoor Peerless TV on a continuous basis. I’m not giving Samsung a low score. Just saying it was not a good match for me and or the particular Television brand that I wanted an outdoor soundbar/subwoofer for.

Thank you for taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-Q600C soundbar.
You could try to synchronize the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
Additionally, please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware version. You can update the firmware version of your soundbar by using the SmartThings App or a USB device. If available, you may also want to update the firmware Version of your TV which may feature audio delay improvements.
Since the soundbar is going to be used outside check out the the Samsung HW-LST70T Terrace soundbar. It is audio optimized with the outdoors in mind. The Terrace soundbar withstands excessive temperatures and is weather rated IP55, to protect against dust and rain.
