This sound bar does give a better sound, the "surround sound" speaker seems to have very little effect. I nearly returned the package but kept it for the sound difference.

It’s a must for watching movies and programs with music. After I connected it I couldn’t get it to work at first. So I unplugged it then plugged it again and it worked. Sometimes with regular programs like the news the base can be a little annoying, but it works great though with movies. I’m happy with it.

Love the sound bar for the money. It’s great quality. Sounds great in our living room.

Great sound bar, subwoofer is great. There’s a few different sound settings and the best one is surrounded sound, the others are okay.

Had this shipped to me as a Christmas present for my mother in law. Arrived fast, the box was slightly damaged, but nothing wrong with the actual sound bar itself. I setup the sound bar for her and it was very simple. I intend to purchase one for myself also. MIL loves it, she can actually hear her TV without issue now.

I felt like it is great for small living rooms like in apartments and great for TV’s in your bedroom. Pair it with the rear speaker sets for making it 5.1 channel, and you could enjoy dolby/dts contents even more!

I was having a hard time hearing the tv from regular speakers. I decided to try a soundbar and subwoofer. Let me tell you I am not disappointed. I can hear EVERYTHING.

This sound-bar system is for our game room and sounds amazing and was easy to install. But, this is my 3rd unit in as many months. I purchased my first one as an “open box” certified refurbished, this one did not work out of the box. The Geek Squad came to install and deemed it to be DOA. The 2nd one, which BestBuy store manager honored with a new unopened box unit, worked well for 2 1/2 months. I’m on my 3rd unit now. The issue on the first 2 appears to be the same problem w/audio failure, unit connects, but no sound. I have the Total Tech plan, which made replacement relatively easy. So far #3 is working perfectly, it’s been just about a month. I am hopeful, but concerned this model may have some known issue. We also have SAMSUNG 700 Series sound-bar system in our “media” room which is a little higher end model. This also has amazing sound and movie theatre like experience. This one has been without issue in over a year that we’ve been using it. Samsung overall has been our go to for 10+ years. Giving 3 stars only for the reliability of this model and inconvenience to replace again. I would recommend Samsung sound bar, maybe not this model in case this is a bigger known problem w/HW-Q60B.

I bought this soundbar bc the tv speaker is not the best. I get it home and open and use it and works great!!! But just a couple of months ago it started acting up. Like it would kick me out of something I’m watching and go to a different input. Ik it the sound bar bc I unplug it and it stopped. I have contacted customer service yet to see what’s going on.

I have ALWAYS used Samsung products because they give great sound quality and last longer than most products that I have purchased in the past. We often have movie night in the comfort of our home and it feels like we are in the movie theater.

The sound on this is incredible. Crystal clear highs, lows and mids. The sub is also great. Makes watching tv or movies or gaming so much better. I have a smaller Sony in the bedroom and the sound doesn’t even compare.

Excellent product. I was going to buy a lower quality product but the sales associate pointed me to this product and I’m so grateful. The sound is awesome. It feels like an on a movie theater.

Overall pretty good unit, very similar in sound quality to the B650 system I have from samsung as well

Awesome sound fir the cost. My wife could never here the TV speakers, TV is in an enclosed stand. This was an inexpensive solution that fit the decor and doesnt take up much space.

THE SPEAKER IS GREAT, BUT DOES NOT LOWER BACKGROUND NOISE. I WILL GET TECH BACK, MAYBE I AM NOT DOING SOMETHING CORRECTLY
