Q-Symphony is a Gimmick but the soundbar is not

However, I bought this Soundbar along with Samsung AU8000 to take advantage of Q-Symphony and, I must say, it has to be the biggest gimmick ever. When Q-Symphony is on you can BARELY notice a change IF any at all but the biggest problem is the TV defaults to it turning off constantly. Maybe its because I switch between media streaming and game mode (the sound profile changes to game mode automatically and cannot be changed back) but I've given up on toggling it on every time I go to watch something considering I couldn't tell the difference anyway.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about Q-Symphony and your experiences with the HW-Q60B Soundbar. I'm sorry that you are not 100% satisfied with your audio experience.
Q-Symphony works by using the speakers within your TV as well as your soundbar. The higher model TVs will have more speakers available which will create a larger sound stage compared to the AU8000.
To be able to have your TV not switch to Game Mode, within the TV settings make sure you turn Game Mode from AUTO to ON or OFF. That way when you switch inputs, Game Mode will not automatically turn on forcing Q-Symphony off. When you switch back to another input, your Game Mode will turn off if it set to Auto.
