Tried everything and no luck. I’m returning this and I should’ve listened to the reviews. I was in line reading them and thought “nah maybe I’ll get a good one” but it stopped working within 5 hours. DO NOT BUY if you do then expect to return it or to exchange it, but those exchanging it tend to return it. So I’m not bothering I’m just going to return it and get another sound bar with good reviews.

Initial impression of the sound was good in our medium size living room. This worked out well for about 3 hours. Then connection issues started. Power was reset, no sound. Input changed to optical, no sound. Very disappointing. Then a phone call to Samsung resulted in a shipping label emailed to me to ship back. This is really poor service and after reading the many reviews on this sound system, it sounds like I have a good chance of getting a second one that won't work either.

Would prefer the Sonos but that starts with NOT buying a Samsung TV again. This soundbar is ok.

Below are a few tips and tricks to get the best sound out of your new HW-Q60B Soundbar.
By pressing the SOUND MODE button, you can select the desired sound mode.
SURROUND SOUND - GAME - ADAPTIVE SOUND - DTS VIRTUAL:X - STANDARD
– SURROUND SOUND
Provides a wider sound field than standard.
– GAME
Provides stereoscopic sound to immerse you in the action while gaming.
– ADAPTIVE SOUND
Analyzes the content in real-time and automatically provides an optimal sound field
based on the characteristics of the content.
– DTS VIRTUAL:X
Immersive 3D sound from any content.
– STANDARD
Outputs the original sound.
• DRC (Dynamic Range Control)
This applies dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. Press and hold the SOUND MODE button for more than 5 seconds while the Soundbar is powered off to turn DRC (Dynamic Range Control) on or off. With the DRC turned on, loud sounds are reduced. (The sound may be distorted.)
