You can easily control the volume level of all the speakers with the remote. Subwoofer really adds booming base to action movies. Easily add a bluetooth player like phone to get great music playing through the system. When hooked to your TV you can switch volume control to the Sound bar so you do not have to use multiple remotes to crank it up.

Sound is amazing for something so compact. Don’t have to see speakers everywhere. All the speakers for left right center are all in a nice compact sound bar. Most importantly is the wireless subwoofer is now hidden behind the couch without having to fish the wall to hide the wires. Setup was super easy. I would buy this again in a heartbeat without hesitation.

I will be adding on satellite rear speakers to get that true surround sound.  Satellite speakers were also purchase opening box which save me money.

I was shocked at the sound quality compared to other samsung bars I had heard. He told me all about it, played some different sounds and then told me it was on sale. This bar is way better sound quality then the bars in the $250 range and the on sale price of $220 makes it cheaper. Better sound and better price.

Pairing with my Samsung Tizen Smart TV was effortless, as is pairing with an iPhone for music. Wireless subwoofer works without lag or interruption anywhere in the room. Not necessarily for audiophiles looking for optimal sound quality, but strongly recommend for every day use without breaking the bank.

Amazing sound for its size

Dialog is crisp and clear bass from the sub is adequate. I’ve used this both with Bluetooth and HDMI. Two complaints prevent this product from getting a 5 star: 1. The subwoofer button is almost like a joystick but as such pushing up and down feels almost like I’m breaking the remote. 2. I cannot get this device to get recognized by Samsung Smart things. I’ve seen tutorials even in the manual on how to connect it but it’s not listed as one of the supported devices on the Samsung site. I’ll try updating the firmware and see. Overall I’m happy with this product.

Thank you for leaving a detailed review of the HW-Q60B Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you are not fully satisfied with your purchase.
SmartThings is required to setup Tap Sound which is a feature that is supported on the HW-Q60B Soundbar. But the Soundbar itself is not compatible with the SmartThings app in other ways.
The Soundbar itself does need to be able to connect using Wi-Fi, which the HW-Q700B Soundbar is the first in the Q-Series lineup that has that ability.

Once we turn the volume to around 17 decibels or more, you can then hear the true sound—quite awesome! There is a slight 3-5 second delay once you turn on the unit but it’s not an issue. We’d strongly recommend.

The setup took a while because my xfinity remote was confused with two Samsung devices. My TV and the sound bar. It finally figured that out but it took a lot of adjusting. I’m not even sure what I did to make that work.the enclosed remote is crap. Samsung says the remotes will control everything but the don’t even control all of the sound bar functions let alone be able to control the cable box. But you can’t get rid of them because there are functions you can’t get the xfinity remote to control. I should have just used my stereo. It has way better sound but is not as convenient to use after I was finally able to get some of the functions working on the xfinity remote.

Thank you for sharing your review of the HW-Q60B Soundbar. I am sorry to see that you have experienced these issues with your new unit.
You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND MODE button to select the desired pre-equalized sound setting. The choices are SURROUND SOUND – GAME – ADAPTIVE SOUND – DTS VIRTUAL:X – STANDARD.
To control the volume of the treble or bass press the TONE CONTROL button, and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons on your soundbar remote.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.)
If the video on the TV and audio from the Soundbar are not synchronized, select AUDIO SYNC in Sound Control, and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
Press the CH LEVEL button so you can adjust the volume of each speaker. CENTER LEVEL can be adjusted using the UP/DOWN buttons from -6 to +6.

Was able to return it for another, and so far, no problems. There are no instructions for using the unit. The remote is not great. But once installed and figured out, the sound is great.
