Hello KarenC,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding the HW-Q60C Soundbar. I am sorry to see that you are not fully satisfied with your purchase.
You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND MODE button to select the desired pre-equalized sound setting. The choices are SURROUND SOUND – GAME – ADAPTIVE SOUND – DTS VIRTUAL:X – STANDARD.
To control the volume of the treble or bass press the TONE CONTROL button, and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons on your soundbar remote.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.)
Press the CH LEVEL button so you can adjust the volume of the CENTER CHANNEL using the UP/DOWN from -6 to +6. Also, we do recommend using either Surround, Game, Adaptive, or DTS VIRTUAL:X for the best audio experience.

I thought this would be a wise purchase to pair with my amazing 65" Samsung TV, however I was not impressed by the sound or the quality. The speakers are not truly wireless bc they've wired connections between the 2 speakers. I tested the sound out anyway hoping to maybe change my mind, but I didnt notice any major difference in the experience. I live in an apt so it wasnt due to the size or space in which they were installed, too small/large, or flooring (wood w rugs) , overcrowding of furniture, etc.. ive a 9ft long apothecary piece that my TV resides on and I followed the measurements to a T when installing the system. Bass module and speaker placement.. my TVs sound works just fine without any additional cost, or unpackaging and installing something meant to enhance my listening experience.

Thank you for your review. If you aren't fully satisfied with the performance of your soundbar, you can try the various built in sound modes to quickly tune the audio to your liking. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME PRO, or ADAPTIVE SOUND
Additionally, if you would like louder (or softer) bass from your subwoofer, you can adjust the level by rocking the WOOFER button on the soundbar remote, and then adjusting the level from -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS of the soundbar via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please know we are here to help. You can reach Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

I bought this to accompany my Samsung 55 inch Q70 television. When turned on, the sound bar over road the bass, mid, and treble settings of my television, and no sound from the television. The soundbar sounds like a transistor radio. The subwoofer had a muddy sound. It has a low rumbling sound with no distinction of musical bass notes. After placing the subwoofer in several locations in my room, after several days, I gave up. I returned this product to the store! The sound of my Q 70 television is better than the sound bar. Do not waste your time on this product.
