Installed using HDMI eARC connection. Sounds great, clear, crisp and dynamic. Have a hearing issue so wanted to be sure to have a 3.1 system for improved voice clarity. Easy to connect and interface with TV. Dolby atmos makes a difference.

I first purchased the much smaller "A" series (HW-A445/ZA), and found it simply insufficient. Voices were muddled on TV broadcasts and streaming shows, so I returned it and did more research. I settled on the Q series, and decided on the 3.1 vs. the 3.1.2 as I did not need the full surround sound and rear speakers for front room of the house. I connected it easily, it synched immediately with my new Samsung television (which I also love), and the improved sound was immediately noticeable. Voices are clear (special middle channel for dialogue), and has "voice enhancement" technology; it works! Good total sound, sub-woofer has good whoomph, and it's adjustable. Don't waste your time with the A series, spend a little more for the Q series and you will have a far better experience.

For 20+ years I've used surround receivers and tower speakers, and this has replaced them with high quality sound and awesome bass that fills my family room magnificently!

This soundbar also supports both ARC and eARC. I need to differentiate them as it's important to me since my devices currently only support ARC, not eARC, so it's great that this soundbar isnt eARC only.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i picked this since i wasn't able to get the sony s2000. had it for a few weeks with the apple tv 4k connected to it and it sounds great, but took a while to set it to my preferred audio. bass at standard is a bit too much for me and sound odds out after dolby atmos audio leaves and switches back to stereo/ dolby digital plus/ dts virtual x. other than that it's a nice soundbar, just wish i had the tv that supports Q symphony.

The sound is just amazing for its price. I tried dolby but it was dissapointing with high bass less sound. When its turned off, its just wow. Very happy with it

Overall, super happy with this purchase!
