I went back and forth for quite a while, between a Sony sound at, and this Samsung. I had my sites set on a Sony TV based on reviews, and decided on this soundbar, again based on reviews. Got home and got everything set up. Soundbar sounds pretty good, but rear speakers are constantly in and out. So I moved the receiver more in “view” of the soundbar. This made it better but it really messes with your ears when you’re watching an action movie, and the rear speakers stop for a second, then come back. So tonight I decided to watch a movie. I have the soundbar hooked to the tv with HDMI, so used tv remote initially. After a while I wanted to adjust the sound which I have to use the factory Samsung remote……remote doesn’t work. Replaced the batteries, nothing. Researched online, tried various remedies….it’s a paper weight. Needless to say I’m not happy with Samsung on this. I’m thinking I maybe better off to return this, and buy the Sony

Great soundbar-centered surround sound system. If your room is small to medium size, the sub is more than loud enough despite what some say. Also, if the back speakers are too quiet, you need to make sure that your TV settings are correct so it is actually sending 5.1 audio to the soundbar. On a Samsung tv connected via hdmi ARC, this means changing settings in sound expert settings from “pcm” to “bitstream” and to “Dolby” or “dts”. Once properly set up, you won’t be disappointed.

Great sound. Easy setup with our new Samsung QLED the subwoofer and surround speakers are worth the small price difference.

It's a good system, I have it set up to a Q70T so I cam able to use the Q-Symphony feature. I agree with other reviewers that the rear speakers are rather quiet relative to the bar, even after manually setting them to their highest level. The set up was fairly straightforward, even if you end up having to manually pair the subwoofer and rear speaker receivers, It's simply a matter of holding a button for a few seconds and waiting for them to pair. The rear speakers are small and have a small hole in the back for wall mounting. They are likely light enough to be held up by a single nail. It also comes with little brackets that you can use to mount the soundbar on the wall, which I found to be super simple to install and look very clean. Once everything is all paired up and working, it works well. I have mine connected through the TV via HDMI eArc, which means I can control everything from just the tv remote, and the soundbar even powers down when I shut off the tv. Overall,if you can get it on sale like I did, and you have a Q-series TV, I would recommend this system, at retail, however, I'm not sure the surround sound effect from this set is impressive enough to warrant the purchase.

Nice and loud sounds. Can hear everything so smooth and clearly, I can’t go back to any other brand.

I like the product for the price and I can feel the surround but the subwoofer is not good as I expected.

Great sound for the price. The only problem was I couldn't get HDMI ARC to work with Samsung TV so I had to use a digital optical cable. Not sure if the problem was with the TV or soundbar but family member I bought for doesn't mind having to use multiple remotes. Very easy to connect the rear speakers and subwoofer though.

Bought this to replace a more expensive JBL. I have learned that a sounder mfg. by the same company as the TV just works better. Easy to set up. Surround works well. Not as good as a wired system with amp, but I wasn't expecting that. Bluetooth works great. It's cool feature, but I have found I can't use the TV speakers at the same time as this system is designed to do. There's a bit of an echo, but I may just have to spend more time tinkering.

I thought quite a few negative reviews but after trying it it’s a very good surround system for under $300 dollars. I saw that people put that the rear surround speakers are not very loud but that’s why they are surround and they work just great I would definitely recommend this surround system. The subwoofer could use a little bit more rumble but that’s just something an update could fix because with Bluetooth that sub really rumbles the room.

This thing is DOPE, I went in today looking for the Vizio, and tested all the floor models, but in the end, picked this one up. I needed something for an apartment that sounded good, I could turn up and not hack off the neighbors. Even in a low volume mode, this fills the room With Dolby Surround. It took me a little while to figure out how to use the remote to get it set just right, but when I was done, INCREADABLE. Im a late shopper, not paid to leave this. For a house I might have gone with something else, but for an apartment, it is sweet. The Iphone music hooked up immediately and sounded great too. If you dont take my word for it, take an African Grey Parrot's I have one and he is high strung, and when I fired up the Christmas Music off my Iphone 12 Pro (uncompressed), he turned into a statue. Your millage may vary with your pet. LOL All around a very great sound system for an apartment. And I have no doubt if the wife allowed me let this thing off the chain, it would be a decent system for a house at this price point. Oh and last point, I hooked it up to a LG 50 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (49.5'' Diag) Make sure you plug it into the correct HDMI Port, that slowed me down a little. Overall, 45 Min setup.

Great sound but limited connectivity. My TV doesn't have the HDMI ARC only a regular HDMI port. I spoke to Samsung Tech and they advised that the soundbar will not work using a regular HDMI port. Your TV needs to have HDMI ARC port. Otherwise, you will need to connect with an optical cable.

It is an amazing sound system. It sounds great, as if you were in the movie theatre.

Got this with a QN90A 55" TV. The combination of the two blows me away. I am coming from a component 5.1 system, which was overpowered for our space. I expected this to be a downgrade sonically. It was not. Q-Symphony (pairing this with the TV speakers) creates room-filling sound that blows my old system away. I really can't turn it up more than 50 percent without it being way too loud. There is no Atmos, but lets face it - Unless you are putting speakers all over the room, you aren't getting the true Atmos effect anyway. Samsung's Adaptive sound technology is way smarter than my old AV receiver, it just does it's thing and makes everything sound great. One drawback of the Q-Symphony pairing in some cases the surround speakers are way louder than they need to be. The laugh track on Seinfeld is way louder than the speech, for example. You can just go with the soundbar alone and edit all the settings, but when you have it paired with the TV, you have to let the AI do it's thing, which for most cases works amazingly. I use a Fire TV, and was frustrated at first. Every time I would launch a new app, the soundbar would unpair and sound would only come of out the TV speakers. I realized that there is a conflict with the CEC setting on Fire TV and the CEC the TV uses to talk to the soundbar. I turned off Fire TV's CEC and now it just works. Great purchase, couldn't be more pleased.
