However, when it comes to sound, I really believe Samsung has the best sound bar systems. This one is no exception. Incredible sound and great power. It’s one step from the top flagship bar, but you would never know it.

I'm by no means an audiophile so I'm sure you could piece together a much better sounding system, but for the convenience of just plugging everything and it work was well worth it for me. Music and movies sound great through it

Its loud but crisp snd the subwoofer makes me feel like i should get a better home insurance policy because its about to knock the walls down. If you can find a way to get it BUY IT TODAY.

WE LOVE HOW IT SYNCED RIGHT UP WITH THE TV. ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THAT IT IS NOT FULLY WIRELESS LIKE WE HAD THOUGHT. THE SURROUND SOUND SPEAKERS HAVE TO BE PLUGGED INTO A POWER SOURCE WHICH ISN'T HORRIBLE, JUST NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED.

The good parts were the price and the contents were in good shape, well mostly...the bad was the missing remote. When initially hooked up to my old tv - I couldn't adjust any settings, just factory set up. After ordering the correct remote, and paired to my new samsung tv the sound came alive! I'm so glad to have this soundbar with sub and surround speaker set up.

Killer deal for a killer sound. easy install, great sound. Getting the Q990 would be great but you'd have to spend more. what I like the most: clarity of dialogue. what could be better: bass is not as powerful as other models even cranked.

Easy to connect but I have not fine tuned it yet. Wish the power cord was longer. Bass shakes my house. I got a great price on it too. I have a Samsung TV and S symphony feature was a plus

Great when it works, frustrating when it doesn’t

The Onkyo system also takes up much more space. I bought this Samsung soundbar to simplify things. It’s easy to setup and it sits perfectly on the stand of my Samsung TV. The sound quality is impressive for a soundbar and I do not miss my old system at all. My only gripe is with the soundbar failing to properly increase/decrease volume. Usually, it’s just a lag in the volume display on the TV and the volume will still adjust. However, on rare occasions, there will be no volume for some streaming services on my Apple TV or the volume won’t go past a certain number in either direction. It’ll go from 12, 11, 10, 9, 8 and then jump back up to 12 as I’m still trying to lower the volume. I’ve searched online for a solution and tried all sorts suggestions to fix it but still see it from time to time. It’s still a great system and I would probably buy it again if there wasn’t something more reliable with the same sound quality in this price range.

Thank you for taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-Q930D Soundbar.
First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.
If available, we recommend using the HDMI connection to your TV.
Connecting your soundbar to a TV through HDMI will provide the best audio and user experience, often eliminating any connection or delay issues you may be experiencing. There are 2 ways to connect your soundbar with HDMI: you can connect a device to your soundbar (like a Blu-ray player) and then connect the soundbar to the TV, or you can use HDMI ARC. The first method will give you the best possible sound from external devices you regularly use. ARC is the way to go if you want great sound from streaming apps on your TV and a soundbar.
