Fair warning, I have not been able to find speaker stands that fit the rear speakers though, so definitely look out for that. Also, follow the instructions for the correct order to power on and pair the speakers, I didn't do this and had the worst time getting everything set up. Sound-wise, they sound good... but it's still a soundbar, you're not going to get real Atmos from this. If you have a perfectly square room it may simulate the experience, but for the rest of us, it'll just be a good soundbar.

The HW-Q950A supports true 3D surround sound with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X via front, side, and top firing speakers on both the soundbar and rear speakers! When detecting Dolby Atmos or DTS:X content, your soundbar will display the format across the LED display letting you know you are getting true 3D surround sound. The Q950A also features the ability to simulate 3D surround sound when you are not watching or listening to Dolby Atmos or DTS:X enabled content.
Please know that Dolby Atmos content is widely available. For example, Netflix has a lot of content available in Dolby Atmos, including their newest original titles.
To optimize enjoyment from the subwoofer and rear speakers, activate Surround Sound expansion by pressing the “Sound Mode” button twice until you see “Surround” on the soundbar display. Dolby Digital content will also bring out the most from the rears and subwoofer; this content is very common with most over-the-air and cable channels supporting 3.1.2 when in High Definition.

Good value for the sound bar

It has a nice full sound that fills the room and makes watching movies very enjoyable. The sound is crystal clear and is not too verybearing. I was surprised on how different a hockey game sounds with the sound bar.

I bought plenty of bars before, but this is the best investment Ive ever did, dough expensive. The sound is like Im at the movies in my own home, calibrates well for my living room. Goes great with my 85in samsung Neo Qled QN900a, thanks Samsung just bring the price down for others.

Did you know you may be able to improve your experience further with our new Auto EQ feature? Only available on the Q950A and the Q900A, Samsung’s Auto EQ Technology uses a microphone mounted in the subwoofer to detect and correct low-frequency response peaks caused by the room dimensions and the subwoofer location. The result will be a more neutral overall low-frequency response.
If you would like to setup the Auto EQ feature, please note the following:
Subwoofer should be placed with a minimum of 3” clearance from each side to the nearest boundary.
You must keep the room as quiet as possible while operating the Auto EQ tuning.
Do not use any buttons until the Auto EQ tuning is complete.
Auto EQ tuning takes about 2 minutes.
During Auto EQ tuning, there is no sound from the Soundbar’s main unit and rear speakers.
If you are using the function for the first time:
1) Press the (Sound Control) button until Auto EQ is selected.
2) Press the Up/Down buttons to select Tuning, and then press the button.
3) Tuning will start, and the progress appears in percentage.
‒ To cancel tuning, press the Up, Down, Left, Right or button, and then press the button to confirm.
‒ If the tuning is failed, LED blinks in red.
‒ If the tuning is successful, LED blinks in blue.
If you have done the tuning process:
1. Press the Sound Control button until Auto EQ is selected.
2. Press the Up/Down buttons to select Tuning, and then press the button.
3. Press the Up/Down buttons to select one of the following options.
‒ On: Turn on the previously tuned EQ settings.
‒ Off: Turn on the default EQ settings.
‒ Tuning: Start the tuning process again.

Returned entire unit back to Best Buy for exchange which took about two weeks. All is good with the second unit. With the way it is packed, surprised there was damage in the first place. Anyway, Best Buy replaced it, no problem. Set up was easy, Sounds very good. Wish for little more base punch.

I was worried that it wouldn't sound good, because we have a high vaulted ceiling. But WOW! A QUIET PLACE 2 4k disc sounded incredible! This was for our living room with wood floors, so I wanted something with wireless rear speakers. Definitely gives you that theater experience without all the different components and wires. Great soundbar!!!

This 11.1.4 samsung wall mounts in under 1 hour, and perform well enough to have me question the 7.1.4 system… No, it does not come close to the separates and floor standing speakers, but it delivers 70% of the performance in mere fraction of the time and money.

Decent but not Sonos quality sound solution

Honestly the subwoofer did not have the response I desired anyway. Replaced it with a Sonos solution and do NOT regret the extra investment. Samsung makes nice TV's but had compatibility issues with their own sound bar dropping.
