    Returned for the Vizio. M512-H6, because they’re pretty much the same in terms of audio for a grand less. Just lacks the bells and whistles like AirPlay and Voice Assistants.

    I love these speakers so far. Have to find good rear speaker stands to fully experience these speakers, but so far, so good. Have no complaints, other than price.

    I've been a Bose owner for over 30 years and was hesitant to buy anything else, until I listened to this system. A great product at a great price.

    Really easy to set up! Box is definitely quite heavy though so make sure you prepare for that.

      Thank you for purchasing the HW-Q950A Soundbar and we're glad to hear that the sound quality of the Soundbar exceeds your expectations!

      The HW-Q950A has Samsung’s Auto EQ Technology built in. The Soundbar uses a microphone mounted in the subwoofer to detect and correct low-frequency response peaks caused by the room dimensions and the subwoofer location. The result will be a more neutral overall low-frequency response.

      • Subwoofer should be placed with a minimum of 3” clearance from each side to the nearest boundary.
      • You must keep the room as quiet as possible while operating the Auto EQ tuning.
      • Do not use any buttons until the Auto EQ tuning is complete.
      • Auto EQ tuning takes about 2 minutes.
      • During Auto EQ tuning, there is no sound from the Soundbar’s main unit and rear speakers.

      If you are using the function for the first time:
      1) Press the (Sound Control) button until Auto EQ is selected.
      2) Press the Up/Down buttons to select Tuning, and then press the button.
      3) Tuning will start, and the progress appears in percentage.
      ‒ To cancel tuning, press the Up, Down, Left, Right or button, and then press the button to confirm.
      ‒ If the tuning is failed, LED blinks in red.
      ‒ If the tuning is successful, LED blinks in blue.

      If you have done the tuning process:
      1. Press the Sound Control button until Auto EQ is selected.
      2. Press the Up/Down buttons to select Tuning, and then press the button.
      3. Press the Up/Down buttons to select one of the following options.
      ‒ On: Turn on the previously tuned EQ settings.
      ‒ Off: Turn on the default EQ settings.
      ‒ Tuning: Start the tuning process again.

    I looked at all the sound bars and this one seemed like the best, I was wrong. Set up was simple but I could never sinc up the satellites or woofer. Called Samsung customer service and they couldn’t either. They advised to return it, I bought LG very happy!

    RETURNED - GETTING NEW AV RECEIVER INSTEAD

    I don't often write reviews but this soundbar was so disappointing I felt I needed to. I purchased this item to replace an existing surround sound system (Klipsch speakers and subwoofer) after the AV Receiver died (Onkyo). The thought of going to a wireless system and eliminating some clutter was appealing. We did A LOT of research before deciding on this system, and one of the deciding factors was the high reviews it received. Another was that Samsung apparently purchased Harmon audio at some point, and the assumption was that audio expertise would be applied to their products. Well if it was, you would never know it. The setup instructions were virtually useless. We had to resort to searching Youtube videos for nearly everything. One rear speaker wouldn't pair and we finally found a Youtube video that explained how to reset the soundbar, which eventually led to a successful pairing. Even Samsung's website didn't explain it. The final straw was the actual sound produced from the speakers. The soundbar itself seemed like only a louder version of our Samsung tv speakers (and audio doesn't get much worse than that). The subwoofer was practically non-existent. I tried multiple adjustments to the bass level and nothing seemed to change significantly. I cannot understand the reviews stating how powerful it is. Or how amazing this soundbar system is overall??? I guess I'm completely missing something. After hearing how incredibly disappointing the audio was from this system, I packed it back up and returned it. I have since ordered a replacement AV receiver and will go back to using my wired speakers which truly do sound amazing. I will live with the wires! Lesson learned for thinking that a soundbar could even come close to replicating a true surround system!
