This is my first soundbar so I can't really compare to others as I was formerly using an ad-hoc system I made using a KRK monitor and a battery powered mini-mixer. To my ears the sound is excellent. I first tried connecting w/ the HDMI cable and that did not work so I moved on to Bluetooth connection which did work. At some point I'd like to try the optical cable connection because I noticed some latency in between the video and audio feed so it looks like all the shows were originally in another language and overdubbed in English. It's not the end of the world but just be aware that Bluetooth connection has a noticeable delay that makes people in your movie look like they are lip-synching. For now I'm fine with the Milli on my Vanilli and will just pretend that English is my 2nd language and it's not that big of a deal that lip cadences don't match the words I hear.

We LOVE this soundbar!!! We replace a BOSE soundbar with this Samsung and don't regret it at all! This is so much better than the BOSE. the sound is full and clear and you can't even tell it isn't coming from the TV. Worth every penny! Might get another for the other TVs in the house!

I was skeptical about how small this thing is but upon using it, the sound is crazy! I would say it’s even better than the Sonos Beam that we have in a few of the other rooms and for less than half of the cost. If I’m the market for another sound bar, this will be at the top of my list.

This is a great solution for poor built in TV speakers. With TVs getting thinner and thinner, the speakers space for speakers is being forced into smaller areas with less room for space to make bass.
I bought this as a gift for a family member but was able to test it out in my home for a couple weeks before gifting it.
This speaker bar is more than equivalent to the best TV speakers I've heard and has a great full sound. Because there is a center channel speaker, you can better hear vocals with more clarity. Bass is NOT boomy at all but is clearly there as much as you can without a subwoofer. I've had a few more expensive sound bars and they tend to be harsh on the ears. This is the first one that I never felt that with.
It is also very nice looking in person. That fabric cover similar to google home devices looks good in a lot of settings and the grey instead of black helps it look nice too.

I love the sound bar, I needed a new one, the old one I had was only 2 channels so this is an upgrade. My only issues are I can't seem to get the remote to work the volume control and I wish when purchasing they would tell you you need to purchase an optical cable. Luckily I had one.

Know what you're buying - this is, of course, a soundbar without a standalone subwoofer. Knowing that, and looking for a little more bump for my loft TV that my kids use for their switch and the occasional family movie, this is perfect!

After updating the firmware it’s much better. Great sound. Definitely will have to get the subwoofer when the price comes down. Wish they had the bundle price

This sound bar was easy to set up (with Geek Squad) and definitely adds to the quality of sound from our TV. Our living room is not that large, so it was the right choice for us.

Bought this for my elderly mom who complains that she can't hear people speaking when watching movies because all the shows always have such loud background music that interferes with hearing the voices. I have to agree that even I have had that problem from time to time. This sound bar has a third speaker located directly on the center of it dedicated to push the voices out in front of the music. (Many sound bars only have speakers on each side which Vinings voices and music. IT WORKS! Voices are heard very clearly to all of us and she no longer has to put on the captions in order to watch a movie!

Good bar, easy to install and connect. Downside is the remote control - color is all black so controls are hard to see in dark. Also, I would prefer up and down buttons rather than toggle switch for volume. Lastly, when changing sound preference, a loud voice tells you what setting you have chosen and there's no way to lower the volume or mute it, which can be very annoying. All in all, though, a good speaker for the price.
