To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD, MUSIC, or ADAPTIVE.
When you press the CH LEVEL button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the CENTER speaker using the UP/DOWN buttons between -6 to +6. If the Rear Speakers (sold separately) are connected, the setting “Rear Level” is supported.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the TONE CONTROL button using the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote between -6 to +6.

I bought this to accompany my new Samsung TV, in order to use the Q-symphony features, but, WOW, was I disappointed. I have returned this and gone back to using my cheap Hisense soundbar. It isn’t great, but it’s better than the “better” Samsung one. Don’t waste your money.

Not Happy with sound at all

The remote does not have any way of telling me how to use the soundbar. The sound uses the Q symphony but the sound is really no different from soundbar than the TV. I was going to return but out of the 15 day return. I even bought additional wireless speakers to connect to it and the sound is minimal.

Soundbar and ROKU stick issue

I got it to work one time, but could not get it to work again. I will need help programing it. If you want to buy it please tell the sales team the age of your TV and see if it is compatible. I use a ROKU stick to stream, might be the problem..

All of the options are confusing, and leave something to be desired. Only bought it because it was on sale, would definitely recommend a different one though.

If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM audio on your TV. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.
If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 3.1.2 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.
On a Samsung TV this can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)
