The sound from the TV wasn't very good so I purchased this Samsung soundbar. I'm amazed at how much sound comes from this tiny speaker. My mom loves it, and that's the most important thing.

The app feature is convenient and the bass os best out of the three. Not using the app its hard to navigate the modes and set up with just audio feedback. Having the abilty to have a wider sound stage because of the size was nice. The sounf was good but not as dynamic as the other two. But i enjoyed it and of the q600c wasnt cheapwr i may have chose it.

After getting it home and hearing it in my own house...im wuite pleaded euth the quality of sound and its size under the tv is just perfect.

It works well, great sound and it has a small footprint, which I wanted due to space and aesthetic. The only thing that could make this better would be sound/speakers from the top, which you can get in a higher priced model. The subwoofer was bigger than I prefer but not the worst. Overall, great sound and works well for someone in an apartment (such as me) who just wants a bit of a sound boost other than just the tv speakers.

S700D Soundbar - Good but mysterious problem

All connections were checked and verified but mysteriously no sound. The following day the equipment operated fine. A Mystery.

Thank you for taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-S700D Soundbar.
There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.
First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device.
Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The LED display changes as follows: White moves from left to right and right to left, and the middle LED blinks Cyan 3 times. Then the middle LED will blink RED and turn off.
