You had to turn it up loud to even experience the sound. Low volumes were'nt recognizable and bass only worked, when it was turned up loud. I brought the item back to the store. Samsung needs to make improvements.

It is possible that your unit needed minor troubleshooting, a firmware update, or adjustments in settings. Such as To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: ADAPTIVE SOUND, DTS VIRTUAL:X, MUSIC, GAME, or STANDARD. When you press the SOUND MODE button, it will change to the different modes in the above order.
