Loud but not great for karaoke

It was on sale for $440 and i found an open box item for $180. Hard to complain about this for that price but the one thing i wish it could do is turn the RGB lights off. We use it for outdoor movies and it is distraction.

You can in fact turn off the LED party lights of the the Sound Towers. Using the provided Sound Tower remote, you will press the LIGHT button repeatedly to cycle through the available light modes: AMBIENT, PARTY, DANCE, THUNDERBOLT, STAR or OFF. If you want to turn them back on, use the same LIGHT button that is at the top of your Sound Tower remote.

You will need to make sure that your device volume is all the way up. The volume of your Sound Tower is separate from that of your device. If your phone for example is set too low, then no matter how loud you make the Sound Tower, it will not produce enough volume on its own.
